He looked for a Hollowborn brother who slipped out of the Shadow Fiend's grasp, and returned to Death. Could this brother have joined in the indignity of those forced to guard a castle of bones? Find him, and find a piece of me.
"If you're looking for him," Lae told my charge, "you must understand that we're not invincible. Kasebel used up a favor, and I honored it. The least you can do is wear…aaaand he's gone. I respect the endeavor, but he should respect the Shadow Fiend's gift. Maybe it's an Elf thing."

If the brother was not among bones, perhaps he was drowning in blood. Vampires, in the face of eternity, are a young breed. They cling to aesthetics, and love using skulls as goblets. Find a Vampire that is named after his own food in the den of his nemesis, and retrieve a piece of me.
"I can't believe the Vampire actually used him as a cup," Shadowslayer D told my charge. "Apparently they thought they could eventually become human again if they did. It's too bad. The Hollowborn brother you were looking for was already stolen by the time we got here."

Piranhas are more civil to each other than Noble Vampires. The Hollowborn brother was in the hands of one of those night creatures, and stolen by another. Sanguine joked that the Vampiric thief was trying to resurrect their hair. Find this Vampire, and return with a piece of me.
"He's not here," Shadowslayer D told my charge, "but you're on the right track. Necromancers like to pilfer crypts like this. According to the blood sucker, he was no-name filth that ran off to Battleon. Good luck finding him. You'll need it."

Stolen bones disappear and lose their names. The Hollowborn brother was mistaken for a tool, and whisked away. Perhaps he was thrown into a conglomerate terror of bones under Battleon, right under our noses. Find this terror, and find another piece of me.
"No dice," Dr. Neelo told my charge. "The person you're looking for isn't in this messy creation. Don't bother me with this again. I'm not that kind of doctor. Why are you looking into the small fry, anyway? We're rare and valuable. If someone dares to covet us, they would need to be powerful."

Where shadows were on the rise, my charge and I searched for an infernal menace. Some said it had the power to steal the Hollowborn brother, and keep him for its own. This was where a story was about to end. Find this menace, and bring back another piece of me.
"No need to jump out of your skin like that. It's just me." Lae had followed my charge into the dark. "I just wanted to make sure you were wearing the armor, and look, you aren't. It's fine. I'm busy with our Oracle, but I could give you some pointers. Why not look for our brother in the Legion?"

Could Dage the Evil need this Hollowborn brother? It was more likely that someone, or something, weaker than him committed the thievery instead. Look for a man connected to the Legion, who gallops, and spites freshwater, but thrives in the salty sea. Retrieve from them another piece of me.
"You're lucky I was here," said a Legionnaire who was hiding their Hollowborn nature. "Lord Dage doesn't take kindly to anyone poking their nose in his business, especially if it has to do with his past…unless you're you-know-who. Just follow me. I have a hunch."

Dage the Evil is a member of a Dark Alliance of Evil, and many Hollowborn were loyal to him. Perhaps their power inspired jealousy from fiends in name and character only. This fiend lurks under the Alliance, and stole pieces of me. Find and return them.
"Lore never lets a grudge die," snorted the Hollowborn Legionnaire. "This Underfiend was taken care of when Malgor was trying to sway our leader into joining him. The soulless ghost stuck around to be a nuisance. I wonder how you and I are any different from it?"

The Hollowborn brother was not found with the Undead. The Legionnaires instead pointed towards tombs where the sleeping dead tend to gather. My charge decided to investigate the photonegative guardians of the dead in an ethereal tomb. Find them, and find one more piece of me.
"I died in a place like this. That was right before I became Hollowborn," My change began to speak to me directly. "The idea of rotting here is a nightmare. That's why I'm looking for him. Now that I think about it, he'd be considered a rare treasure. Who else covets treasure and immortality…"

The final piece of me waits where my charge made a mistake. He looked for a Dragon, but trailed after one that was mired in death and rage. Near water, they sought the kind of immortality the Hollowborn are believed to have. Look in their bones, and complete me.
"We're close, I know we are," My charge theorized. "Maybe over time, the people who kept stealing my Hollowborn brother from each other forgot his nature. He just became a piece of treasure without a name. In that case, him becoming and object of greed would likely…"

You have completed me under the gaze of my charge's brethren, tracing his footsteps as he searched for his treasure. Find him in the lair of the Dragon that embodies selfish desire for meaningless wealth. The walls behind its gold nest will open for you.
Edden's treasure hunt has come to a close. Soon, he'll get himself trapped in another cave. Perhaps I'll be asking you to empty mimics next time.
