Chaos Reigned

Chaos is treated like a bad memory, but we need to stay on our guard. Lord Vaughn of Chiral Valley was forced to stand by when Escherion invaded, but now he's allowed to be proactive. He needs the Eldritch Stalkers and Terrasites of /DeepForest eliminated.

I would have asked you to collect the carcasses so Lord Vaughn's scholars can investigate them, but he's under constant scrutiny. His father was loyal to the dead tyrant king, so when his son Drakath returned, people waited for Vaughn to turn traitor. It's a shame this stigma kept him from lending you his sword. I hear Henry's the immortal of the battlefield. Not a real one, but as close as you can get.

Lady Reignolds of Swordhaven's noble court is also its agricultural advisor. She works tirelessly to prevent blight and famine. I hear she's looking for a way to fireproof crops. Take flames from the remaining Shadefire Onslaught in /FirePlaneWar. If her seeds can withstand their fire, they can take anything.

Lady Reignolds' father was also one of the dead tyrant king's loyalists. The poor girl had nothing to do with any of his crimes, but the other nobles harass her relentlessly. Even the common folk distrust her when she's done nothing but help them.

Lady Noelle of the Yew Mountain Chain was welcomed back home by the Queen. I'm unsure of what to think of this. I hear she's operating in /Ashray. Would you mind investigating the Sharkbait and Fishermen there?

Something's off about what you brought back, but I'm out of my depth with this one. Queen Victoria's making a good effort to lead Greenguard, so I'll trust Lady Noelle if she does. It's strange - Adreanna hasn't aged a day since her exile.

The noble house of Taylor is a family of doctors. I wouldn't be here if they didn't heal my ancestors from disease and poison. The dead tyrant king pressured the Taylors into helping him, which led to Alteon exiling their current Lord. I'm happy to see him back home.

I'm starting to get jealous of all the people who get to fight you. How about we step into the next room and have a spar? I have to warn you that despite letting Battleon's adventurers take the spotlight, I've fought in every war this town has ever faced.
