«Scene: Cysero and Warlic in front of Battleon.»

Cysero and Warlic
Big trouble in little Battleon

Warlic
The Blue Mage:

Cysero, I've just completed my study of the mountain upon which we are balanced.

Cysero
Mad Weapon Smith:

What did ya find out?

Warlic
The Blue Mage:

A few things. First, can you talk a little more softly?

Cysero
Mad Weapon Smith:

Probably, I've never tried. Why?

Warlic
The Blue Mage:

Because even a loud noise might make the mountain crumble beneath us.

Cysero
Mad Weapon Smith:

Be quiet. Got it. What else?

Warlic
The Blue Mage:

The fact we are still balanced on this mountain top is a miracle. If someone drops a fork, it might be enough to throw our balance off and send BattleOn tumbling down the mountainside.

Cysero
Mad Weapon Smith:

Careful with the silverware. Got it.

Warlic
The Blue Mage:

Do you have anything interesting to report?

Cysero
Mad Weapon Smith:

I sure do! Did you know that if you hug a ostrich hard enough it sounds just like a bagpipe?

Warlic
The Blue Mage:

That was my fault. I should of asked, "Do you have anything interesting that applies to our current situation to report?"

Cysero
Mad Weapon Smith:

Hmm? Oh! Yeah. We have just enough flux to move town one more time, but this has to be the last time. If we keep farming those elementals, it will throw BattleOn's energy permanently out of phase. A third attempt might…kill us..

Warlic
The Blue Mage:

…Or worse.

Cysero
Mad Weapon Smith:

Uhhhhhh, worse?

Warlic
The Blue Mage:

Of course, I died in DragonFable, and Falconreach was destroyed (Although, I did get a chance to finally make that little errand to the underworld…), And remember that time that I had to reboot the universe?

Cysero
Mad Weapon Smith:

…Oh yeah, your poor beard. I guess you're right, things can always get worse.

Warlic
The Blue Mage:

Alright then, this has to work the first time. We'll have to keep the town balanced while everyone casts the teleportation spell.

Cysero
Mad Weapon Smith:

If the BattleOn starts to tip over, everyone will have to run to the casting pads on the other side of town.

Warlic
The Blue Mage:

What happens if they fall off?

Cysero
Mad Weapon Smith:

Well, If you want to make an omelet, ya gotta break a few legs. But if the hero survives the fall, I've set up some transport pads around the base of the mountain. They might have to fight past some of the Shadowscythe and undead to get to them but they will be zapped back up here.

Warlic
The Blue Mage:

Very well then, let's begin!
