We've blocked off the throne room, but it's crawling with the Shadowlord's minions down here, too! You will have to defeat them before we can move on.

Gather the Gunpowder

Requirements: Must have completed the previous quest.

That cave in you found must have happened when we broke through the castle - I guess it shook up the castle a lot more than we realized. We'll have to find a way to get past it. If you had enough gunpowder, you could blast your way out. You could get some from the Shadow Gunners nearby.

Build a Bomb

Now we'll need a fuse and some flame. The Shadow Mages carry torches, and all of the shadow minions are wearing cloth we could tear apart.

Magical Potion

The portal is down here somewhere. I can feel it. It must be hidden within the shadows. Fight the Shadow Mages and take their potions of shadow sight. This will allow you to see where it's hidden.

Shadefires of War

Note: This quest can only be completed once.

Tyndarius's soldiers only knew conflict, even before the Shadowflame. That has given Malgor enough grief to amplify and make these men truly a force to be reckoned with. Practice your battles with these Simulated Shadefires and try to find a quick and easy way to defeat them.

Very good. Now let's put what we've learned about the Shadowflame to the test.

Extinguish the Shadowflame

If your theory of the Shadowflame is true, then we should be able to dispel the Shadowflame I've simulated in the area. Use what we've learned and see if you can expel the corruption.

It worked! Guess it wasn't just a crazy theory after all. This will be a powerful tool we can use against Malgor!

Putting Out Small Fires

Living Fires are the physical soldiers of the Elemental Fire army. If you can defeat them in their pure Fire forms, you can definitely beat them in their weakened Shadowflame form!
