Goddess of War
The timing of all of this is very lucky! Mahou is one of Malgor's most powerful allies… or, at least, he WILL be. This is our chance to recruit him before they join forces.
After completing the 'Defeat Grandmother Hasu' quest:
Goddess of War
So, we got here too late after all! We should have known this was too easy to be true. Miko and I will protect this side of the veil while you go after Mahou. We can't let him rejoin Malgor's army.
Goddess of War
This is bad! This is very bad!!! Malgor has control of the Mana Core! This speeds up our timeline greatly! We have to hurry and find a way to stop him!
Goddess of War
Beings like you and I are too powerful to be held by a spell like that indefinitely. Unfortunately, it looks like the rest of those people weren't so lucky! Still, we need to be careful. We can't waste anymore time if we want to get her on our side before Malgor arrives.

Teja's captain's log was very revealing. It sounds like she joined up with Malgor because she was looking for a purpose. If we could give her back her old crew, what loyalty she has to Malgor would waver. This could help us win her to our side.
Didn't the Queen of Monsters turn her crew against her?
Yes - but when the Queen died, her power died with her. If we awaken those people now, they would no longer be under her control.

Teja's crew has come back to life - but they're NOT back to their old selves! Teja's spell must have kept them in a kind of stasisthe prevented the Queen's corruption from fading. We'll need a different plan - but for now, we have a new problem on our hands.

Goddess of War
You've chosen to follow me. For a moment, I wasn't sure that you would. My warriors will keep Shadowlord Malgor and his army busy for now, but he will notice your absence soon enough. Deep in this castle is a portal that will take us to the rift you saw in the sky. That is how we'll get out of here.
Who are you?
I am Varga, goddess of war. Though this is the first time we have met, I have known you since you were born. Your drive to fight in defense of Lore is a gift from me. All of this world's greatest warriors have felt my divine inspiration.
Why does Malgor hate you?
He wants the world to stop fighting - to succumb to his will and follow him without question. As long as I exist, that will never come to pass. In his own, twisted way, he sees this as a way of bringing peace.
Is that what YOU want?
Peace? If that could be achieved, I would no longer be necessary. Despite who I am, I would welcome this, but not at the expense of freedom. Malgor believes there is no other way. Do you?

After completing the 'Go Through the Portal' quest:

We should not stay here for long! The longer we're here, the greater the chance that Shadowlord Malgor and his men will find us. You are not ready for that battle yet.
Can't you just, you know, smite him or something?
No. Can you imagine how overpowered that would be? I can't interfere with the affairs of Lore directly. I am spirit, not flesh - most people would not even know I was here. I can only inspire and empower my chosen champions.

Welcome to the timestream. From here, through these portals, we can access …anywhere. Any time. Any place. Any timeline. Because you are… who you are… you will be able to create new portals yourself. It will be easier to access times and places that are close to where you are now, but as your access to your power grows, you'll be able to travel to more distant places in both space and time.

It’s good to see you again, <Hero>. Welcome to Justitica Per Belli, my home realm. Here, I train my troops in order to become strong enough to beat Malgor’s forces. And that’s exactly what you and Galanoth will train to do as well. With the limited time that we have, we will hone your skills (and Galanoth’s Champion powers) in order to defeat Tyndarius and Malgor!
Goddess?
I guess I never did explain myself to you. I am a part of a Pantheon of gods that oversees mortal existence. When a major aspect of humanity comes into existence, so does a member of the Pantheon. For instance, I was born when the first war broke out.
Pantheon?
Most of my siblings are a little less "social" than I am, and the ones that are social focus their attentions elsewhere. Lore is a large planet after all. There are some of my siblings that I would love for you to meet but, of course, there are some that I hope you never cross paths with…
War?
When I was born, I despised my own existence. I hated watching wars break out, destroying lives and families. It was sickening. It took me a long time to realize it was not my duty to start wars, however. It was my duty to ensure that even in an act as brutal and ugly as War, something beautiful came out of it.
More
Wars start when two powerful beliefs and passions clash against each other. In order for there to be no War, those passions would have to be extinguished from every person, and that would leave a very empty life for everyone. It is my duty to make sure that no matter how devastating the War, the side of Justice prevails

One of Tyndarius’s greatest strengths is that Envoy of his. Elius is young, but he is strong, loyal, and will always put his people first. I see a lot of you in him. I think if we weren’t on opposing sides you two might actually be friends. Unfortunately, that’s not the case. You will have to face him in battle and we will make sure you are strong enough to win!

You did well on the Shadowflame portion of the training, but there are more to their forces than that. You will have to break through Tyndarius’s Fire Elementals as well.
