Well now that you're here we can work on finding that crash site. I've done some looking around myself, but I didn't see anything. Maybe you'll have more luck than me. Gravelyn was absolutely certain this was the location and I can feel that something is here, someplace that needs stumbling into.
Oh you couldn't find anything either? Weird! Something around here is definitely out of place… Maybe… Hold that thought, those alien creatures are eyeing us funny. I don't suppose they like us snooping around here, so get ready for a fight.

Looks like we're not the first to try to find this place, based on the number of skeletons hanging around. We should put some of those fallen adventurers to rest while we're here so that they can be at peace and pass on.
I've always wondered how the undead move around like they do, they have no muscle or nerves or ANYTHING, yet they're surprisingly agile and strong! It's probably just some weird dark magic, but that's a boring theory. Oh! What if a tiny symbiote is controlling them - wouldn't that be interesting?! Little infectious things that connect the bones together and use the souls of the dead to move and fight. Er… Let's
get back to looking around before I talk for the next hour.

The vault must be hidden somewhere around here, I just know it. See if you can manage to get any of these strange aliens to speak with you, I tried and they just screeched at me. If not, then see if any of the fallen adventurers around here had a clue on them before they became undead. I'll just be over here reading some of these old books I found and seeing if they have any clues in them.
"Ancient civilization… blah blah… Citadel… Shadowscythe… Infected… Stranger… Blah blah blah… Betrayed… Doom…" Hmm. Huh? Oh sorry, was I mumbling? I tend to do that when I'm researching, but all the books here describe a darkness that infects people, and an ancient civilization with massive ships that fly through space. There was also an entry on a stranger in a cloak that caused some downfall after a betrayal. Crazy right? I don't believe any of it myself. Wait - you found the clue already? Great! What is it?

Some kind of alien cloaking device! No wonder we couldn't find the crash site. I wonder why those aliens would want to keep hidden? Well, there's only one way to find out' You gotta use that thing and see what it uncloaks!
Holy what? A real, alien spaceship! I thought Gravelyn was nuts, but here it is! Who could have ever guessed that it would be an actual alien spaceship? Oh… yeah, I guess that WOULD explain all the aliens lurking around. And all of the stuff I was reading in that book while you were off finding the cloaking device.

While you were doing THAT, I found a scrap of paper in the book I was reading. "You've read this trick a hundred times over in mysteries and mansions. A secret passage opened from knowledge under a guise of red. If you can't figure me out then pick up a book." I think I just got sassed by a piece of paper. It seems like the clue wants us to do something with the bookcase in the ship. Why is there even a bookcase here? Doesn't that seem out of place? Why disguise a door and then write a clue? I've confused myself now, probably best not to think about it further.

Ow… remind me to never stand anywhere near you when you press buttons. Wait - don't those alien pillars look like something out of Sepulchure's castle? Has he always been this over the top? Either way, the inside of this thing is massive. I can't imagine the civilization that was capable of building all this. Let's take a look around through that suspiciously cut open hole in the wall. And uhh, take out any of those gross alien spiders and guards while you're at it.
So it's another room that looks like Sepulchure's castle with a large locked door that ALSO looks like it's from his castle. Why? I have so many questions about this place already and I am very concerned.

Looks like there's a big locked door we need to get through in the next room.. Oh, I know! Lets build a skeleton key out of skeletons and alien spider webs and see if that works! We could also use one of those super hard alien claws to sand it all down, What do you mean that's stupid? It's brilliant! Everyone knows that skeleton keys unlock any door for the area they're made in.
Ah this reminds me of my old partner who'd go on treasure hunts with me, he'd go along with any weird or crazy idea I had. I miss him sometimes and wonder what he's up too but the past mistakes can't always be corrected so we must move on and learn from them. There's many stories of our adventures together that I could talk about endlessly but that's for another day.

Believe it or not I made a skeleton key to unlock a door before though I don't know if it worked or not. If this really doesn't work then I have a back up plan just in case so don't worry. My gut is telling me this will work though and I got to believe in my gut! That or the food I ate earlier is disagreeing with me again. Let's not think about that one, just see if the key works, alright. Oh, and can you kill some of the flying
buggers? Call'em… ShadowStrykes. Their chompy mandibles make my stomach clench.
It didn't work!? But skeleton keys are supposed to open any door! This is like the incident I had in Darkovia the last time I tried making a skeleton key. Tried to open a door with a skeleton key I made from rat bones after a few hours of being stuck in a room with a werewolf. Yet my old partner kicked the door in and broke my nose while I was trying to unlock it, so I wont ever know if it would have worked. Now I at least know that skeleton keys are indeed a myth!

We're going to need to find an actual way to open that door since it doesn't seem like someone is going to kick it in for us. Seems like it's not locked with an actual key though, which is probably why my skeleton key idea didn't work. Try collecting some dark magic and doom energy from the all the darkness around here. Maybe we can blast it with enough energy that it will burst open the lock's magic. Stop looking at me like I'm crazy, we have to try something and this is better than looking around for a key that may or may not exist.
This could cause an explosion if we're not careful. I don't need another incident like I had with Valencia a couple of years ago! It's a long story involving a lot moglinberry juice, dynamite, and regret, so don't ask about it. Let's just say she hates my guts and I'm banned from Yulgar's for life. Let's just find a good place to stand back and hurl these orbs of concentrated magic at the door until it opens.

On the count of three get ready to throw this magic- bomb! One.. Two… What? Stop staring at me like that! Even if this doesn't work, it'll at least be fun, so come on! Try it. I know my methods are unconventional, but I swear I know what I'm doing… at least 25% of the time. Let's just try this, and we'll go with your idea if it doesn't work. Does that sound good? Great! So.. THREE!

Ahem. There's some kind of huge alien monster glaring at us from inside, and I assume we need to get past him to get to the vault. So the plan is: you fight him while I stand over here and read through some more books for research. Come on! What are you waiting for?
Okay, soooo I might have been wrong about how tough he looked, but at least you beat him! He's even "given" you the key to that vault door! Between you and me though, this thing doesn't look very trustworthy, so let's be wary of him. Oh he's glaring at me too, maybe he heard what I said? Everyone knows whispering is secret-talk! How rude, listening in on our conversation!
