Huli Jing

If you're staying at an Inn, I'll pay for the accommodations as long as you let me stay with you. Preferably, a room without Foxes. As much as I like them, the feeling isn't mutual. Oh, they're not supposed to be here in the first place? Spies, are they? If that's the case, let's politely show them out.

The foxes here are called Kitsune. Where I'm from, we call them Huli Jing. Like the Kitsune, they're tricky, and can either be benevolent or malevolent. I knew a Huli Jing, and she was the latter. I was having so much fun that I didn't notice until I caught on fire.

Aka Oni Ao Oni

Requirements: Must have completed the previous quest.

This is my first time seeing Oni. They're raucous, rude, and keep trying to eat the villagers. All this noise is going to get in the way of our meals and sleep. Fighting the Foxes alongside you was fun, so let's resharpen our blades and do away with these oafish creatures.

Where do you want to bury them? Should we ask the villagers? My mother was bullied when she was younger, so I went back to her hometown and buried her tormentors alive. It made her smile, and I think the villagers would appreciate it too. No time for that? Maybe later then.

Stone Shangyuan Fest

Requirements: Must have completed the previous quest.

That man at the edge of the village is being pestered by those living lanterns. I…think I'll get rid of the remaining Foxes and Oni. You go ahead and deal with the Tsukumogami. We wouldn't want to give the Dragons a head start on torching the Isles.

Do the Isles hold Lantern Festivals? In my hometown, we used to make paper lanterns, light them, and send them to the sky with wishes for good health and fortune. I'll have to show you sometime. You and I can share a lantern, and write our names on it.

Nagami Sashimi

Requirements: Must have completed the previous quest.

More of those creatures the locals call Nagami are crawling up to shore. I definitely saw them conversing with the Dragon army out on the water. Well, what are we waiting for? Let's chop them up and get dinner started. I haven't cooked for a friend since the last war, so go easy on me.

I forgot to ask if there's any taboo about eating Dragons. At home, it's forbidden to eat clams near water during certain seasons. That's because sparrows turn into shellfish. Dragons love to eat sparrows, so if they smell one in your stomach, they'll snap you up in their jaws.

Divine Derision

Requirements: Must have completed the previous quest.

A creature flew down from the mountains. I can feel its air of nobility mixing with waves of indignant rage. That's a Tengu? The Yokai lurking in this village seem to revere it, and it's raring to fight you. I can tell it's on the Dragons' side, which means you don't need to show mercy.

How does it work in the Yokai Isles? Should I sit respectfully while you cut off their head, or does the Empress need to be in the audience?
