The Tale of Astravia

Locations/Replays:

«Scene: Floating Chair»

«Scene: Mirroring Hands»

«Scene: Hero upside down»

???: Falling.
???: Endlessly falling. Lost and at a loss.
???: Oh great Dragon of Time, this was how we met your adversary as well.

Hero: It's been a long nightmare, and I'm finished with being led around by my nose.
Hero: Get to the point. Who are you?

«Do Dawn and Do Dusk appears»

Do Dawn: For this cycle alone, we are both known as Do.
Do Dawn: Do of the infinite beginnings. Midnight. I am the sum of the hours past.

Do Dusk: And Do of the final end. Midnight. I give way to the light of a new day.

Hero: That rounds off the last of the Scale. But whose side are you on?
Hero: Darkon's or La's?
Hero: Not that I can do much if Darkon sent you here to rub it in.

Do Dusk: La's story has ended.

Hero:

Do Dusk: The last chapter of her life was filled with hope.
Do Dusk: La was a companion to us as well. The story she left behind is one to be proud of.

Do Dawn: But we were not meant to be on her side.
Do Dawn: We serve not the Dragon of Time who sympathizes with mortals.
Do Dawn: Nor do we serve Darkon.

Do Dusk: As envoys of the Arcana, we oversee each cycle-
Do Dusk: -each individual's story from the start of their journey to it's twilight.

Do Dawn: Just as we had given guidance to Darkon at the beginning of the cycle-
Do Dawn: -we will guide you in lowering the curtain on the end.

Hero: I have a thousand questions but the most important one I can think of right now…
Hero: Will this end well?

Do Dusk: This question, from you of all entities?
Do Dusk: That is your decision to make.

Hero: Then I have to know, how did it come to this?
Hero: Darkon kept talking about how it wasn't just Drago that needed to pay, but the entirety of Astravia too.
Hero: Him and the Scale thought I would understand, and wanted me to understand.
Hero: I don't know the full story, and I need to before I can face him.

Do Dawn: Shall we start from the beginning then?

«Scene: Statue of Prince Darkon in Eridani Past»

Aurola: What do you think, Prince Darkon?
Aurola: Are you good to trek through the mud or do you want me to carry you home?

Darkon: Drop the 'Prince,' already. Out here, I'm just Darkon.
Darkon: No, it's still too obvious that I'm the Prince. I need a fake name.
Darkon: What about Dar..Darren? Derek?

Aurola: I'm going to bust a lung laughing here…Derek. Pfft, haha!

Darkon: I'd rather have the Eridani villagers meet Derek.

«Close up of Prince Darkon statue»

Darkon: They'll be disappointed that the real Prince isn't a handsome ten feet tall.
Darkon: Let's go. I'm curious about the rumors of this monster child.
