Take a moment and catch your breath. You must focus on your goal - find Oblivion, and decide if you want to approach or leave him behind. He was the Archfiend before Nulgath, who saw the futility of trying to fight a cycle that fed Adimonde for eons. Interesting. It forced the Fiend God to accept a new Archfiend while Oblivion was still staring into the Void. I wonder how this Nulgath managed to turn his predecessor into a servant.

What you're looking at is a ghost of what I used to be. Before it fades away, I want to see how this new generation of Fiends is faring.

Tundra
The Northlands haven't changed at all. Its tundras are always larger than you think they are. Remember - avoid pitch black snow, and don't make eye contact with the dead. If you see organic growths like bony spines or patches of fiendish flesh, keep your gaze from lingering. Oblivion returning to his original body caused the landscape itself to turn into a Fiend. It'll become self-aware if you acknowledge it.

Fiend's Void
Are you familiar with Adimonde the Fiend God? His Void is insatiable, and I know that from firsthand experience. Who is the current Archfiend? I see, Nulgath. Null…that's an interesting name. The Fiends and creatures you encounter here will differ from those under Nulgath's banner. They'll embody the void's numb emptiness rather than…well, you describe Nulgath for me. It depends on his character.

Student
When my body was still complete, Oblivion was my student. The being you describe is rather enthusiastic, and about as animated as most living creatures are. Before he cut me into pieces and fed me to the Fiend God, Oblivion was quite reserved. He held a fascination with the power of the Fiend's Void, but not in the same way I - oh, you seem to be caught up in the fact that he betrayed me. It was unavoidable, really. I don't take it personally.

Before I was fed to Adimonde, my name was Casimir. I was an Archfiend who terrorized Lore, ensnared souls in contracts, and mentored a Darkness Elemental. They came to be known as Oblivion, and betrayed me just as I had betrayed my Master before me. It's a feeding cycle the Fiend God trapped us in by using our own pride against us. Let us seek out my former student. Nulgath steered you on this path for a reason.

Nulgath won't acknowledge my presence. Haha… I wouldn't want to look at me either. But then again, he seems to be a possessive teacher. If you act as an intermediary between us, I can guide you to your goal. You've already decided to leave this place- and Oblivion- behind, yes? Very good. It's time to move, whether or not my former student decides to follow…

Hushed
Archfiend Oblivion rises out of bitterness, envy, and rage. That's a far cry from emptiness. Haha, Nulgath acknowledged that I exist, and is petitioning me to hand over my student. Defeat him, and I'll be more than happy to watch him leave. Oblivion…remember how it felt when your Elemental body was twisted into a Fiend's. How your bones grew in. Remember your breath, your scream, and the roar from your newborn lungs.
