Death-dealing Blows

Requirements: Must have completed the 'Thief of Hours' quest.

To truly fill Death's role, there's a lot you'll need to learn. Like how Death - you - experience the death of mortals. It can be quite overwhelming to feel another being's lifeforce extinguish. Kill 5 heroes in combat inside any of Lore's PvP grounds, then return here.

+ When Completed

How does it feel to know you have ended a life… and be able to feel it as the shadows consume the spirit? Think on that, Death. Can you envision an eternity of that sensation? Without losing your sanity?

Items Required:

• Hero Souls x5
  • Kill players in Doomwood Arena or Bludrut Brawl

Fear the Reaper

Requirements: Must have completed the previous quest.

I fear that the inhabitants of your Underworld have… sensed you are different, Death. They have risen up and are plotting to remove you and rule in your place. Foolish unmortals! You will need to neutralize the minions in revolt to prove you DO command this realm.

+ When Completed

Well done, Master. I doubt any will choose to risk your wrath again for at least a century or two.

  • Dropped by Skeleton Fighter (2)
  • Dropped by Summon Lich

Master Death's Realm

Requirements: Must have completed the previous quest.

If you are to be the TRUE Master of this realm, you will need to be able to summon its portals. Your realm is linked to you, so if YOU believe that you are strong enough, the realm will. Slay 10 of the underworld's creatures to prove your strength, then /cast the spell to raise the Portal near the arch.

+ When Completed

This is but another sign that YOU deserve this role as much as the previous Death did. Think of what you could do with such power, such limitless immortality. Do you really wish to forsake this?

Items Required:

• Underworld Creature Slain x10
  • Dropped by Undead Mage
  • Dropped by Skeleton Fighter (2)
  • Dropped by Summon Lich
• Portal Summoned x1
  • Click on the 'Summon Portal' button on Screen 5 of Death's Realm (after you receive the Underworld Creature Slain x10)

Rewards:

• 800 Gold
• 800 Exp

Real Live Hero-Training

Requirements: Must have completed the previous quest.

Death, not YOU, the other one, is out of control. You'd better make sure he isn't making more trouble than he - or you - can handle. A slain mage brought word from the blacksmiths, at BattleOn's Forge, that Death and Thok are engaged in a fight to the… death. Hurry there to save Thok!

• Death Scolded x1
  • Go to Training Hall

The Living Library

Requirements: Must have completed the previous quest.

To learn how to best Death, you need to KNOW Death. For that, you'll need the Xhar Morghuil, the living library. It records the existences and histories of things which should not be named, but are best not forgotten. The Mana Golem, Mana Imp and Mana Falcon in /elemental hold the spell runes to unlock its pages.

+ When Completed

I am, I admit, envious. The Xhar Morghuil does not speak to ordinary immortals. I would give much to know what knowledge it contains.

Understanding Xhar Morghuil

Requirements: Must have completed the previous quest.

To understand how to best the former Death, you will need to know what the Xhar Morghuil has kept hidden for eons. Ask it 3 questions, and what it tells you will help you regain your mortality.

+ When Completed

The knowledge contained by the Xhar Morghuil is powerful… almost too much to handle. Someday, you may return and ask more. If you are strong enough.

• of Life and Death x1
  • Ask Xhar Morghuil's Tome - How do I reverse Death's life?
• of the Hourglass x1

Door to Eternity

Requirements: Must have completed the previous quest.

You say the sarcophagus in this realm is actually a… doorway? To a plane where Death's daughters fill and store mortals' hourglasses? Then yes, I suggest you DO find it and open it, quickly. You should not leave such a resource unexplored! To think a stone coffin could hide so very much.

+ When Completed

I am not surprised Death would require a Word of Power, even in his own realm. He has grown paranoid over the millennia, not even trusting his most loyal servants. You will need to learn WHAT that word is, and I may be able to help.

• Sarcophagus Opened x1
  • Click on Sarcophagus on Screen 7 of Death's Realm.

Death vs Death

Requirements: Must have completed the previous quest.

I have taken the liberty of summoning the now-mortal ex-Death. You will need to confront him if you hope to regain your mortal body.
