Final Rest

Blackhorn Tomb is crawling with the restless undead who have died here in Thunderforge. Searching them for clues to the scroll's location would be the smartest move. Put 5 of the Restless undead to rest and search the remains for the Darkblood Scroll.

Disturbing The Peace

Requirements: Must have completed previous quest.

Perhaps the scroll can be found in one of the tombs. If these were the resting places of good people I would never allow this but considering they are Darkblood tombs… shatter the tomb doors and search the tombs for the scroll.

Nothing again. Unfortunate but don't feel guilty for disturbing the remains of the evil. The evil get no rest beyond the grave.

Sampling Silk

Requirements: Must have completed previous quest.

These Tomb Spiders seem to have infested Blackhorn and even blocked off one of the passages. You cannot explore the tomb further until the wall of web is destroyed… but how? Blades have no effect of that wall. Gather 6 samples of Spider Silk from Tombs Spiders so that I might find a weakness.

Fire Is The Thing

Requirements: Must have completed previous quest.

Ah HA! Fire can destroy the Tomb Spiders webbing. We will need material for a fire bomb. Gather 3 Gas Bladders from the Tomb Spiders, 3 Scraps of Cloth from the Restless Undead and find a bottle lying on the ground somewhere inside Blackhorn Tomb. Bring them all to me.

The Bonefeeder

Requirements: Must have completed previous quest.

Tomb Spiders are a species of carrion spider. That is, they eat the remains from a larger predator which is usually a large Bonefeeder Spider. Find this monster and slay it. The tomb will not be safe until you do. Let me know when the Bonefeeder has fallen.

Good. I wonder if it pains the filthy Darkblood to know that their ancestors remains are feeding a monster like that. I do hope so.

What Lies Beyond

Toxic

The Bonefeeder species gathers lost items and weaves them into their cocoons. The Scroll MUST be in one of them but we can't search them just yet. The contents are highly toxic. We will have to brew an anti-toxin just to open them. Start by bringing me 4 vials of Spider Venom from the Tomb Spiders!

This isn't as potent as the Bonefeeder venom but it might do with a little help.

Very Toxic

The Tomb Spider venom is particularly weak. Perhaps we can augment it with some of the poisonous Thunderforge fungus that grows on the bones of the Restless Undead. Bring me 6 patches of Undead Fungus so I can complete the anti-toxin.

The Golden Onslaught Soldiers are not affected by the Death Fog. We have to find out how they are blocking the effect. Search 6 of the soldiers and keep your eyes open for anything unusual.

The Key To Survival

The Tools

Archlord Lionfang's field alchemy skills are well known by the Shadowscythe Army. This Death Fog is an interesting creation but we can neutralize the effects with the amulets. I will need several alchemical reagents to chance how they function. Search the tower and being me 8 alchemical reagents.

The Slavers that once controlled the Death Pits committed great sins against their own people. The spirits of the Darkblood who died are still angry and insane. First, Destroy 3 Rotting Darkblood and clear their spirits from this level of the pits. Use my amulet to summon me again when you are done.

Now that I am also undead I can sense the rage of the skeletons that roam the Death Pits. The first room is clear of that rage now,

Thriving in Rot

We must begin to work of protecting you from the Rotstone's dangerous effects before you can go lower. First gather 5 of the Glowing Mushrooms that grow near the surface of the Death Pits. Summon my spirit again when you are done.

These mushrooms get their glow from the Rotstone itself. They break the it down and neutralize its effects near the surface.

Rotting Ribs

Requirements: Must have completed the previous quest.

Next you will need to gather some bones from the Rotting Darkblood that are rich in the poison from the Rotstone. Summon my spirit again once you have gathered 10 Rotten Rib Bones.

A Perfect Skull

Requirements: Must have completed the previous quest.

Lastly, you will need to find one large, perfect skull in which to mix the marking paint that we use to create the protection runes. It must be absolutely perfect, so you may look for some time before you find the one you need.

After all the years wandering around in the poisonous, damp air of the Death Pits and this Darkblood managed to keep it's skull pristine. Well done, hero.

Deeper into Death

Requirements: Must have completed the previous quest.

The rune paint needs to rest for a short time, while it rests you can clear the next level of the Death Pits. This far down the ghastly Darkblood roam. They are more dangerous than the Rotting Darkblood so beware. Destroy 4 of them.

Precise Placement

The protection runes have to be placed in very exact locations, but I don't know where those might be. One of these Ghastly Darkblood must be one of the old Slavers. Destroy Ghastly Darkblood until you find the rune map.

Painted Protection

Now that you have the map you should be able to find where all 6 runes of protection were once placed. You will need to use the rune paint to refresh all the runes to protect yourself from further exposure to the Rotstone's poison.
