Sandport and Starboard

The most imperative skill of a Ranger is familiarizing oneself with the surroundings. The Sandsea Port is a new uncharted area to you… so get an idea of the scenery before taking any others course of action. Scout the Sandsea Port and return to me with your findings.

Shark Diving

Requirements: Must have completed the previous quest.

Before the unnatural sandstorm consumed the entire Sandsea, a massive river once ran through the land, providing the inhabitants with fresh water, a convenient trade-route, and thriving marine life. Now all that is left in this barren place are dangerously mutated Sandsharks. We must cut down their numbers before they migrate to the Oasis and cause serious damage. Bring back 8 Sandshark Teeth and I will award you with more than just my thanks.

Thieving Cut Throats

Requirements: Must have completed the previous quest.

This once wealthy port is now overrun with Tomb Robbers who are looking to steal anything they can get their grubby hands on. I think it's only fair we give them a taste of their own medicine.. or in this case, steal from the stealers. Confront the Tomb Robbers and take back what's neither ours nor theirs!

Lost and Found

Requirements: Must have completed the previous quest.

It is a shame to think some people (… and sharks) stoop so low for a little extra jingle in their gold purses. Tomb Robbers and Sandsharks have stolen precious Sandsea treasures from the ancient Sek Duat pyramids. It's not right and beyond damaging to the Sandsea history! Bring back the 14 missing Sandsea Relics and I will be sure to return them to their proper resting ground.

A group of Horc Sell-Swords are mingling at the far reaches of the Sandsea Port. Sell-swords are hired mercenaries and I suspect Zahart hired them as his personal guard. Defeat ALL FOUR Horc Sell Swords and maybe we will get our answers -- act first, ask questions later, I always say!

Sacred Scarabs

Scarab beetles are depicted throughout the Sek-Duat's Pyramids as a symbol of worship. But it appears that more than just their likeliness floods the passageways now! If we hope to reach the chamber of Sek-Duat, we must first thin the Scarab numbers or face an all-out swarm. Collect 8 Golden Scarab Shells and bring them to me. They will also fetch a nice price at the Oasis market…

A Noob is Guard

Requirements: Must have completed the previous quest.

You must have encountered the Anubis Deathguards by now. With such high numbers, these guards made up Sek-Duat's army, offering their servitude to the god-king of the Sandsea. Little did the Deathguards know that serving an immortal king would have such… permanent… consequences. Free the spirits of 10 Anubis Deathguards so that they can finally be at rest with their loved ones.

Not only have you offered the Anubis Guards freedom, you have also helped clear the path to Sek-Duat's chamber. Great work!

Bandaged Aids

Requirements: Must have completed the previous quest.

Sek-Duat's most trusted servants and right-hand aids were his mummies. Seeing as to how they were already dead, his mummies made the best bodyguards any god-king could hope for. If we tried to break into Sek-Duat's chamber right now, there would be no end to their mummified onslaught. Defeat enough mummies to collect their wraps so that they cannot respawn a new army of undead servants!

Ah yes. Triple Ply Mummification Wrap. Its soft and so absorbent… no wonder these guys were immortal.

Keys to the Royal Chamber

It is now time to enter Sek-Duat's royal chamber. Only problem is… we need a key. And if I was an immortal god-king, I would have broken the key apart and hidden the pieces throughout my palace. And I bet Sek-Duat did the same thing. I don't know who (or what) he entrusted the key pieces with… but it's time we find out. See if any pyramid inhabitants can "help" us out…

They've Gone Dark

The Kalestri Worshipers were a very noble people in their homeland but these creatures have been corrupted by evil. Their sisters will want to know that you have discovered them. Go gather 8 Dark Medallions to prove that you have found them.

Exellent, I'm sure the Kalestri Worshipers will come and try to save their lost sisters. Maybe they will even return home.

Bad Doggies

Requirements: Must have completed the previous quest.

I have never seen the Kalestri Hounds before. I sense some dark connection to the cultists. They could be the source of the evil that has corrupted them. Destroy 10 of the hounds to make your search more safe AND help save the worshipers.

Good, less of those animals to get in our way. I can feel the evil treads of energy between the hounds and cultists weakening.

Essentially Evil

I can feel the evil bonds weakening, now is the time to strike them down…er… I mean free them. Defeat Worshipers and Hounds until you collected 10 Evil Essences. That should break the spell.

That should have worked, but I feel the evil veil is still cast over the Kalestri Worshipers. I must think on this.

Loose Threads

Requirements: Must have completed the previous quest.

That should have broken the evil influence that has infected the Kalestri Worshipers but something is holding it together and we can't get to the Djinn until the path is clear. ITS A WEB! There must be some Lotus Spiders in here. You must destroy at least 10 of them to break the spell.

That is it! The spell has shattered! The Kalestri worshipers can return to normal if they so chose but it must be their choice.

Seek The Treasure

Now that the worshipers are free you can try to make your way through the maze and discover the treasure chamber that holds the Djinn! Once you have found it, return to me. I will break the spell of protection and you can get the lamp.

Sek-Duat has played us for fools. I know we can beat him to the lamp if we hurry but we will need something first. The Lotus Spiders make a rare substance called Dreamsand. Get me some as fast as you can.

Sandsational Castle

On the edge of the Oasis stands what appears to be a deserted castle. It's not buried in the sands of time, it's MADE from them! Before we go charging through the halls of this house of sandstone and light, it'd be a good idea for you to explore its layout and see what information you can find.

You say this fantastical construction was once home to Godking Adofo? I have heard of him! He was a corrupt battlemage bent on bending the magic of Lore to further his dreams of a SandSea Empire. The spells keeping this castle isolated and in stasis must have faded recently for this to have appeared.

Furry Fury

I have heard of ancient Sandsea rulers keeping hyenas in menageries, wild animal parks kept to awe visitors. It does not surprise me that Adofo realized how useful such dangerous beasts would be as guards, OR that Zahart has conscripted them. Neutralize the threat they present by clearing 10 War Hyenas out of the Castle.

Those hyenas have nothing to laugh at now! Something tells me that inside this mysterious Castle is the Key to what Zahart is after.

This parchment is riddled with holes and much text is missing, but I see here that Adofo's menageries was filled with rare and mythical beasts. Could it be that what Zahart and Tibicenas are after is inside it?

I've just scouted the menagerie gate out. It seems the gate was opened by five gems, but they appear to have been pried from their settings. See if you can find them on the Mummy Minions and War Hyenas. Collect 5 Gate Gems and return to me.

The menagerie is empty! I fear we've fallen for a trap which has cost us a great deal of time. We'll have to hurry to make up for the ground we've lost in the search!

There is only one explanation for this. Zahart is here. And if he has enchanted a Sphinx-one of the most mysterious and powerful of the mythical guardians… there's no telling what he'll be able to do if we don't stop him! You MUST remove this weapon from Zahart's arsenal!

The children of the Sandsea are at risk from monsters which periodically venture outside the Djinn World. Lamia, blood-sucking snake-people are roaming the streets of the SandSea and causing hissteria. Set the minds of the desert-dwellers at ease by bringing me 10 strips of Lamia snakeskin to prove you've dealt with the issue before they can leave our world

Due to overwhelming laziness, in the past all that camels would do is lie around and go *humph.* In punishment, one of my djinn overseeing the desert gave them just what they asked for: humps, made of clay! It has come to my attention that SOME of the camels have redeemed themselves, and deserve to have their badges of shame removed. Bring me back the clay humps of 7 Camels.

In-djinn-ious Solution

There are both djinn-made and natural portals which allow access to my realm. These naturally occurring portals open only to those able to detect them; however, I have noticed recently that some have weakened. This allows the unworthy and unwary entrance to the Djinn World. Hide these portals by placing Obfuscation Mists at the weakest points.
