The First Lord of Chaos

Winged Spies

The Chaos Lord at Mobius has too many eyes at his disposal. With too many Chaos Sp-eyes around Mobius we won't be able to get far. Bring down 5 Chaos Sp-eyes and bring me back their wings so I can assign you the next task.

+ When Completed

Great! With most of the Chaos Lord's spies gone we have more freedom to try and rescue some of the terrified townspeople who have been trapped!

Chaos Prisoners

Requirements: Must have completed the previous quest.

Just look at this town. Imagine trying to continue your life with your house inverted, twisted and turned inside out. Explore the houses in Mobius and get any information you can about the Chaos Lord.

Otto and Anna were here through the entire siege of the town. They will have information that will help us, but Renn insists that we get them out of town safely before we question them.

IMP-possible task

Requirements: Must have completed the previous quest.

Before we get the townsfolk to safety, we need to clear the path out of town. We'll protect them while you get rid of Escherion's imps. Bring us 5 Imp Teeth so we know the job is done.

The townspeople are all set to evacuate the town… except Otto and Anna. They want to see this all the way through. You can't argue with the foolish or the brave. I wonder which they are?

You Can't Miss It!

Requirements: Must have completed the previous quest.

The Chaos Lord Escherion is responsible for all of this destruction. Off in the distance to the north you can see his inverted tower. Go investigate it and see if you can find a way inside the tower.

Hmmm. No direct path to the tower, eh? I have to admit, floating over a lake is a pretty good defense. Alright then, let's just focus on getting whatever he came here for before he gets it.

Far Sighted

Requirements: Must have completed the previous quest.

These cyclops raiders are one of our biggest problems. They seem to be looking for something so maybe you can make it harder for them to find it. Defeat the cyclopses and return with 5 Cyclops Contact Lenses.

HA! That should make their search a little harder. They can't even find the houses now!

Slugfest

Requirements: Must have completed the previous quest.

Slugfit, the Imp General was left in command of Escherion's forces here in town. If you defeat him the Chaos Lord's forces will fall into…uh…chaos. But that's a good thing in this case. Return to us with his scalp as proof of his defeat.

Well done! The invading forces are in turmoil… fighting them should be much more simple now.

Requirements: Must have completed the 'Slugfest' quest.

Chain Reaction

The Sneevils must be stopped! Our faerie magic can heal much of the forest but, at this rate there will be nothing to heal! Bring us 8 of the Sneevil Chainsaws and help us save the forest!

You did it! There are not many creatures willing to risk themselves for the forest that way!

Epic Drops

Requirements: Must have completed the previous quest.

While fighting off Escherion's minions many of us have been injured. These Faerie Forest Guards are too weak to heal themselves. We need the rare Dew Drop from the funnel plants in the forest. The special plants are a pinkish shade. Please, find 7 Dew Drop and bring it to me.

You found all seven! This is fantastic! Now we can heal our injured warriors. This may have changed the fate of the entire forest, hero. I'm starting to believe that we can trust you.

Jarring Theft

Requirements: Must have completed the previous quest.

Those little green thieves! They must have discovered the box that holds our Healing Jar! Without that Healing Jar, the Dew Drop is useless! Please, you must find which of the Sneevils stole the healing Jar and return it to me, before it's too late!

Tree Hugger

Requirements: Must have completed the previous quest.

At the heart of the forest is our Tree of Life. It is the soul of the Faerie Forest and if Escherion's Cyclops General succeeds in chopping it down then the forest and all within it will wither and die. Bring me the Cyclops Warlord's Beard as proof of his defeat.

+ When Completed

The Cyclops Warlord has been defeated and the Faerie Forest is safe. You have proven yourself to be a true and trustworthy friend of my people. Return to Renn and Zio in Mobius with this portion of the Runix Cube.

The Second Piece

You have earned our trust and I am willing to give you our piece of the Runix Cube. It is sealed within the Tree of Life, and to unlock the seal I need the an ancient relic guarded by Aracara, the ancient spider who lives high in the trees to the north. Return to me with the relic and the piece is yours.

I had no doubt that you could defeat the guardian of the relic. Here is our piece of the Runix Cube, as agreed… guard it well. You must return to Renn and Zio in Mobius to find the final piece. Thank you for all your help!

So you're looking for the last piece of the Runix Cube? Ok, let's make a deal. I can't learn ANYTHING from these ruins with the Chaos Lord's minions crawling all over the place. You clear out… say… 8 gargoyles and I'll help ya. But I'll need to see proof.

Good luck trying to find your way around this place. My notes tell me that there SHOULD be a teleporter around here. If you found it then you could probably find what you're looking for much more easily. See if you can find it.

Blueish Glow

Hmmm. I think we can charge up the teleporter pad if we had enough power sources. The gargoyles are animated using a magic blue gem in the center of each gargoyle. If we had 10 Blue Gems we might be able to get it working.

Yup, these will do the trick. Great job. Prepare yourself, hero. Who knows what might be waiting for ya on the other side of the teleporter.

We've been trying to put the Runix Cube together all night but we just can't do it. If we can't assemble it then I doubt we'll be able to stop Escherion. Why don't you try it? Maybe you'll have better luck.

Teleporter Report

The teleporter that leads to the tower is to the north. We've been watching Chaos Lord Escherion's army using it for a while. Go investigate and see if you can activate it from this side.

Disguise!

You need a disguise! You need to look like someone they would activate the teleporter for. Go get 8 Cloth Scraps from the Cyclops and we'll use our illusion and rune magic to craft a disguise for you.

Great! We’ll be able to make a perfect disguise for you with these scraps. We’ll have to do something about your weapon, though.

The Lake Hydra

The Hydra has risen! It's heads just grow back so you can't defeat it, but maybe you can recapture it! Some runestones have appeared around the lake. You will need 9 Hydra Fangs to shatter the runes, and toss the remains in the bonfire we have set up to destroy them forever! I hope this works….

Hmmm. I guess those runestones were what was keeping the tower up. I guess dropping a stone tower on it works just as well as recapturing it. With the Lake Hydra out of the way the only thing left is Chaos Lord Escherion…
