Vath might be Dragon chow, but the remnants of his army have refused to surrender! They're mobilizing under the leadership of one of Vath's elites - D'wain Jonsen. We caught them digging into the side of the mountain to launch a surprise attack. I say we show them that they're just leftover chumps. Lets run them through and bury'em! For Dwarfhold!

Hullo there, I'm Snowbeard. You may not know this but dwarves have a sixth sense that leads us to gold. Shiney gold. BEAUTIFUL GOLD!!!!! Ahem, sorry. We can get carried away. I think that gold sense may be why Vath wanted to enslaved my people.
What Happened?
I used to live in my beautiful home city of Dwarfhold… then Chaos Dragonlord Vath came with his army of drow and draconians and enslaved my people. I was the only dwarf to escape and I was badly wounded. I would have died if these seven wonderful ladies hadn’t found me and nursed me back to health.
I'll help you take it back from him!
You can go there if you want but I’m stayin’ here, where it’s safe, there’s plenty of raspberry smoothies to go around and I’m surrounded by beautiful women.
Alright, fine. How do I get in?
If you want the mighty Dwarfhold gates to open for you then you’re going to need a weapon forged by dwarven hands at the Heartstone Forge in the city. If you really want to go in there and get yourself captured or worse, you’re welcome to, but you’ll need MY BATTLEAXE!
Okay, then give me your battleaxe.
Tell ya what, kid. I’m never goin’ back in there again but if you do a few favors for me, then I’ll let you borrow my battleaxe so you can get through the gates. Sound like a deal?

I need just ONE more little favor. Donna Charmer the llama farmer owes me a ton' gold from our weekly card games. If you collect the gold she owes me, then I’ll lend you my battleaxe and you will be able to enter Dwarfhold. You'll find her llama farm through Pinewood Forest to the east.

HA! I really had you goin', didn't I? HAHAHA! Sorry but I had to make it look like I turned traitor on you so I could get you thrown in prison with the rest of the dwarves. Ironfist, Mick and I knew that you were the only one who could help us escape. I'm glad to see that you're safe and sound. I'd better get downstairs. Thanks for rescuing my people!

We're FREE! Vath is finished in Dwarfhold, but his army is still here, and we've got to get fixin' our home. I'd bet my beard that we would've been Vath's slaves forever if it weren't for you! Thank you, hero.

Dwarven Representative
What are you doing here all alone? I was busy carrying the injured away from the flames, so I thought you were with Miss Tara and the others when they passed through. What happened in Maleno? You sealed it, did ya? Good on you, as always! Sorry to say that we aren't doing as well. There's no way we can get to Forge Albedo scorched and injured. We'll have to rely on you again, and I'll make you something nice for all the trouble, yeah?
Attack
The folks in the Sanctuary were helping us get ready for the trek to Forge Albedo, but the lot of us were caught by surprise. A white-hooded figure, like the one who attacked Thelima, got the jump on us. Svala shielded me when I didn't react fast enough. Thank goodness she was wearing a Dwarven-made dress. It protected her from the flames, but her ribs were still broken. We won't be able to get to Forge Albedo like this.
Rescue
One of the Sanctuary's visitors kept the intruder occupied while the rest of us took the injured to safety. Thanks to her, we were spared from the inferno. The fight didn't last long. That monster decided the Sanctuary wasn't worth the trouble, and made a beeline towards Forge Albedo. Argh, if I didn't let my guard down, we could have held it here long enough for you to arrive.
Companions
While I was busy tending to the injured, I overheard some chatter about your party reaching the Sanctuary. I assumed you were with them, but it looks like you were separated. They'll all be heading to the same place, Forge Albedo. You'll either catch up to them there, or find them communing with Aiwass. Svala and I were planning to meet them ourselves, but that isn't in the stars anymore. A shame, that.
Dwarven Representative
Well, hullo there! Why haven't you ever swung by the Inn Ternet to see sweet old Snowbeard? Ha, I'm just pulling your leg. How have you been? Since Vath's defeat, everyone in Dwarfhold's been fighting to get back on track. The mines are full, hammers are swinging, and even I've been asked to speak for the Dwarves in Thelima! The Elders are tied up in talks with the Greenguard Crown, so they had to resort to sending me! Haha!
Talk
I'm doing a big favor for the Elder Council. Heh, the Inn Ternet’s pretty well connected.
Alliance
Which alliance are we talking about? Eh, nothing's set in stone just yet. Dwarfhold as a whole is considering a partnership with Queen Victoria. She made it clear that this isn't a takeover, and we aren't going to be forced to kneel…but those rumors about Undine don't sit right. It made the war with Skye's Elves look suspect, too. The Elders need the full picture from all sides before they start shaking any hands.
Cooperation
Outside of the major alliance talks, I'm here in Thelima to handle a partnership between the Dwarves, Drow, and humans. The Yew Mountain Chain is Dwarven territory, but we're not looking to kick anyone out. We can't protect the Magnum Opus Forges on our own. That's the main reason on paper. The nicer Drow left behind by Vath have been living with us for so long, we call them our own. Lady Song hasn't ever broken a promise, either.
Geopetal
How'd you find Geopetal's new body in the city square? Sharp, isn't it? The seven sisters and I carved her together. They cheered and threw me into the air when Geopetal started blinking. There wasn't a specific reason to make the sculpture. It's just this strong urge we Dwarves have to create. Helps us bond with the people we care about, too. The sculpture came out so well, House Noelle commissioned us to make three more!
