A Healer's Wish

Our first Tanzaku comes from a kind-hearted healer. They want to heal injured heroes with a new salve of their own design, but are too short to gather the reagents. If you can harvest the treants from NibbleOn, the Guardian Tree and Brightoak, as well as a Treant Leaf and the staff of a famous healer, we can help this kind soul's wish come true!

A Fishy Wish

Requirements: Must have completed the previous quest.

This Tanzaku smells… peculiar. We'd best grant it quickly before the scent begins to spread. It appears to be a simple request: "FISH! Lots of FISH!" . Bring some of the finest Anglerfish Filets from the Natatorium, choice cuts of Shark Bait and Kuro, a basket of Fish Wings, and a whole fish from the Fishman Soldiers, and we shall give them a feast for the ages!

Wonderful! We'll be sure that this bounty of the ocean will come to the hungry soul who requests it. A simple thing to do, but sometimes such a gesture can mean the world. There's another slip from this person on the tree, but let's stick to one wish per writer. This other one appears to be cold and dripping, and if I'm being quite honest, I don't want to touch it.

A Villain's Wish

My, we're escalating quickly.This Tanzaku contains a request for total control of the world! As you might imagine, this is FAR beyond our power… though if you bring me some enchanted essence from the Elementals in /Gilead and a full set of carving tools from the bandits of /poisonforest, I believe I can make a solution that will please everyone.

A pinch of magic here, a bit of woodworking skill there, and…. Perfect! It's a miniature replica of Lore. Our wishmaker here may not be permitted to own our world, but now he has a world all to himself. It may not be what our little one demands, though I imagine he will warm up to it. One must start off small, after all, before moving to bigger things.

A Child's Wish

My, what a cute wish slip! Oh, and an adorable desire to match…. It seems that this young girl is making a wish for new friends. Er, sort of. Specifically, she'd like ‘supplies' to… build some? A strange request, but I'd hate to leave a child unhappy. Parts from some of Lore's fiercest skeletons and the bones of undead from across Lore should do quite nicely for her needs.

While I am pleased to help a young soul find happiness, I have some concerns regarding this desire of hers…. Is it normal for young girls to seek undead companions? I have heard there was a Necromancy boom in Lore as of recent times. Perhaps I am simply out of touch with trends?

A Leader's Wish

This next Tanzaku comes from one with titanic shoes to fill. As the new leader of his people, he seeks the strength to usher them into a bright future. Many of Embersea's remnants would be welcomed into his new alliance with open arms. Let us humble the Firestorm from /feverfew, /lavarun and the /fireforge, and leave them searching for his guidance!

With the loyalty of his subjects secured, I now believe that this young man's confidence will bolster. With a proper army supporting his ideals and a heated heart, I am sure he will go on to do great things. It makes one wonder if his predecessor would approve of his new style of leadership. Though considering who his predecessor was, maybe that would be a good thing.

A Conqueror's Wish

It appears that our next two individuals have written the exact same phrase on their slips: "Give me the power to overcome the one I despise." I can make two Doom Power Catalysts for them from the shells of Doom Overlords! Bring me undead souls from the /necrodungeon and essence from the creatures in /evilmarsh to empower our enigmatic evildoers.

My, this is unexpected…. The two wish-makers we just aided were in conflict with each other this entire time. Bolstering both of their abilities at the same level means that effectively, nothing has changed between them. They are quite similar to each other, I imagine… Perhaps their disdain for one another could be seen as hatred for what they themselves have become?

A Survivor's Wish

Here is an odd slip, Hero- from one who seeks peace for those lost, as well as for themselves. They miss the times where friends gathered in a grand symphony… but even though their heart is heavy, the song of Lore must continue. If you can recall your experiences with their allies from /AstraviaJudge and /TheWorld, I could perhaps write my own tune to aid them.

I can feel so much radiating from these tales. Confusion, Loyalty, Bliss, Sorrow, Rage, and Determination, all blended into a symphony of life and death. I can weave these notes into a song for our friend… one that will not only bring those past times to mind, but fill them with hopes for a brighter future. If we must all dance to the Music of the Spheres, we may as well do so happily, yes?

A Chaotic Wish

This is the final wish left on the Tanabata… but something about it unnerves me. A fallen prince, rising only to fall again, seeks to learn from past failures. Records from the denizens of /transformation, /dreadforest, and /lagunabeach should serve his needs- but do not discover TOO much. This wish-maker's intentions are still unknown, after all…

I have my doubts about this wish, Hero, but I am duty-bound to grant it. I hesitate to know exactly why this prince seeks to develop even more strength if they already have so much. Let us hope this is a desire rooted in good will. And even if it is not… I left some of the more dangerous information out of our reports, just in case.
