Have you seen the village outside my castle? That is where I keep the herd. They normally go about their lives and when I feed I tend to leave the mortal alive to keep the blood flowing… but recently Blood Maggots have started cutting into my supply leaving my mortals completely drained. Defeat 8 Blood Maggots and bring me their denture as proof of their defeat.

The Albino Bats that live in this area have been frightened by the Lycan invasion. I need you to knock some out and apply this soothing salve to them. You should only need to soothe 6 Albino Bats for the others to follow. Careful, the salve doesn't always work.

The Werewolf King has sent several of his Lycan Knights into my realm. I can only assume this is the latest attempt to take more of our land from us. Go out and defeat the Lycan Knights and bring me 4 Lycan Ears as trophies.

As the sun set behind the howling moon, the Mystcroft pumpkin patch begins to shake! A huge monster bursts through the soil--its body is the shape of a giant pumpkin, sprouting huge vines that grab nearby victims. The Great Pumpkin King is here… and TRICK -- he's here for your treats! Defeating him is the only way to gain access to my graveyard… so bring me back 1 Pwnkin seed to show me you victorious outcome!

Have you spoken to Gravelyn recently? Just who does she think she is--sending all of her leftover skeletons to MY graveyard?! Humph. This is unacceptable. Do you mind purging my lands of the Undead? It's the only way for the Cauldron sisters to get back to their Candy Shoppe, too! I need you to gather up 10 Skeletal Craniums from the bone-heads wandering about my graveyard. You can only get there by sneaking past the Great Pumpkin King!

The spine-tingling howls that erupt when the full moon rises can only mean one thing: a Vampire's worst enemy. For ages, Vampires have struggled against Werewolves--but now you can fight on behalf of us! Go into the graveyard and slay as many Werewolves as you can. Bring me back 6 vials of Slobber so I know the deed is done. The Cauldron Sisters are counting on you, too.

Though the sun in this sky is fake, the warmth it gives is real. I have never felt such a sensation, or I may have forgotten it over the centuries. Where are you going? You want to catch butterflies?

Catching butterflies under a pink sky with a peerless Hero. You just made me the envy of mortal children everywhere. But, that was an amusing first. I would have never experienced anything like this if I didn't accept the challenge. How to thank you…while these butterflies are beautiful, they don't compare to my bat form. Would you like to see?

Normally, I would fly up the tower but you'd be lonely climbing the ladder by yourself. Instead, I'll turn into a bat and make myself comfortable in your pocket. That is unless, you'll offer your neck for me to cling to. I won't bite. Promise.

The view and this miniature pond garden would be beautiful if it weren't for these skeletal warriors. They seem incredibly out of place in Arcadia…because they're Shadowscythe! Ha! The Empress and former Emperor have resorted to foul play! They knew they couldn't compare to me. Let's make a game of defeating them as we ascend. Oh? Did you find something interesting hidden in those dusty bones?

The fact that these warriors fall apart like scarecrows speaks to the quality of their creators. Though on closer inspection, the color of their armor is off. Am I seeing that correctly or are my eyes mistaken? The water here too, has it become crimson? Don't be worried. I'm fine. Only a touch fatigued. Tell me, what was in that book you found?
