Hmm, I hear how quick your heartbeat is. There’s no need to be nervous. Today, I will be your escort and protector. The fake sun in this realm won’t be a bother to me.
Motivation
My main motivation is to pry answers out of this Big Mama. I don’t believe her words. Valentidus, or Big Daddy as you know him, would never hold an event like this. I could picture him inviting your little friends but primordials? Your worst enemies? I can’t imagine a worse fate than being forced into a relationship with someone who means you harm. Choose me as your champion and I’ll take you far from them.

For the second time, I bested Death. If you must ask, I had no trouble and left the match unscathed. The opening bout with Constantin was far more interesting. Sadly, I did not get the chance to test my power against the Primordial from the depths or Dexter…Destera- something or another. They and the undead I battled held devious intentions but are no more. You may save your gratitude for after my victory.

I'm not sure what Count Maxius is plotting, but it can't be anything good. He's got everyone trapped in separate rooms, each one specially tailored to its occupant to keep you all from leaving. We have to get you, and all of the other guests, out of here before your fate is sealed!
Count Maxius?
Many centuries ago, Maxius fancied himself my rival for the throne. He challenged me for the crown, thinking he was strong enough to best me. He was not. He lost, and the vampires of Darkovia banished him to Gehenna. He hasn't been seen since… until now.
