Into the Underglade

Requirements: Must have completed the 'Talk to Ravinos' quest.

You must go into the Underglade to find what you seek. The spirits below WILL try to stop you. It is unfortunate, but this means you must defeat them to continue. Do not worry, when they return to the earth, they will quickly be reborn from it again. You will not truly harm them.

+ When Completed

There. Clearing this path should help you quickly reach Lunamoss. I regret that this harm was necessary, temporary though it may be.

Clear the Spores

Requirements: Must have completed the previous quest.

As you can see, some corruption still remains below the surface of Brightoak. Get rid of any tainted Grove Spores you find down there. This will help you make up for the damage you are about to do.

Thank you, friend. Removing this corruption won't entirely atone for what we are about to do, but it is a start.

Cleanse the Walls

Requirements: Must have completed the previous quest.
Note: This quest can only be done once.

Destroying those monsters helped a bit, but look at the cavern walls. Can you see the spot where the taint remains? Collect Essence of Nature from the Forest Spirits and Tree Nymphs, and spread it on those spots to cleanse them of the corruption.

At this point we are only treading water - none of this healing is yet permanent. But every bit helps.

Expose the Entrance

Requirements: Must have completed the previous quest.
Note: This quest can only be done once.

To go deeper into the Underglade, you will need to make your way into the Cave of Light. Unfortunately, there was a cave-in, and now it's being blocked by chunks of Blackened Earth. You'll need to remove it to continue.

Gather the Glows

Requirements: Must have completed the previous quest.

The Cave of Light is named so because it is filled with Luminous Fungus. Beyond this cave, the caverns you will find yourself in are so dark you won't be able to see. Unless… you use the fungus to light your path! Collect a bushel of Luminous Fungus from the Cave Mushrooms in the Cave of Light. Only then will you be able to continue.

More Corruption Revealed

Requirements: Must have completed the previous quest.
Note: This quest can only be done once.

Oh no… the light from the Cave Mushrooms has revealed that the corruption runs deeper than we had thought! We must heal it! Collect Elemental Nature from the tree nymphs or forest spirits, and use it to restore the Corrupted Roots deep in the Underglade.

+ When Completed

Imagine - this corruption was infecting Brightoak itself! No wonder it hasn't been healing well.

The Goblin Threat

Requirements: Must have completed the previous quest.

It looks like the area past the Cave of Light is infested with Twisted Goblins. Destroy as many as you can find. Hopefully, this will encourage Lunamoss to respond to you more favorably.

Get an Offering

Requirements: Must have completed the previous quest.

It might not be a bad idea to bring Lunamoss an offering of some sort, before you ask for this favor. She is partial is gemstones. You may notice that the walls of these tunnels are rich with them. Chip away at them until you find a nice, gleaming one.

Note: This quest can only be done once.

I think you're ready to talk to Lunamoss now. I don't think she'll like what we're asking of her, but… all we can do is try. If anyone can get her to understand why the Heart of the Glade is so important, it is you. Get the Heart from her, and bring it to Victoria. She will be waiting for you.
