Large flocks of ravens have been stalking us ever since the trees started to block out the skies. They're flying low, and becoming rather aggressive. We need to thin their numbers, or their cawing is going to alert Skye's forces to our location. While we're on the subject, ask Caoimhe why they're staring at us. Is this normal?

Ravens that gather near prisons…In Greenguard, they used to loiter outside the dungeons when King Dethrix I was still in power. Here, they're watching over Naoise's grave. Are they here to gawk, or bring attention to injustice?

Energetic Feud

Even with the snow, I was wondering why the forests were so devoid of fauna outside of the birds. They were scared away by the Energy Elementals. The Plane of Energy itself is against us. We'll snuff out their sparks, and check with Felix to see if he has any insights about their behavior.

If Felix is right, the Avatars are taking sides. Obviously, Energy is on Skye's side, but why is snow falling from their storm clouds too? We have Fire thanks to Galanoth, but do you think any of the other Avatars would help us? I'll have my mages start testing their spells.

Lord Brentan accompanied Lady Celestia on her investigation of the tunnel that leads to Naoise's Grave. With the camp secure, we should catch up to them, and see if they found anything that could help us. Despite the circumstances, I'm a little excited. This reminds me of old adventures.

Lady Celestia heard movement inside the tunnel, but the ice is blocking us from moving forward. Someone's keeping Naoise's grave sealed. The snow at this time of year is unnatural, so this is a recent endeavor.

The Cold Wind Guides

Tampering with the ice blocking the cave's entrance is whipping the Elementals into a frenzy. The ravens are swooping down to attack them, and we're going to get caught in between. Break up the fighting, and we'll try our luck at melting the barrier. It's definitely hiding something!

The ice melted as soon as you touched it. No magic words or anything. It's like it was meant for you, and no one else. Could it be connected to the unnatural snowstorm keeping us trapped here? Hmm, it can't be Queen Iona behind this. She doesn't have a connection to Ice, as far as I know…

There are Ice Elementals inside the cave, and they're hostile! This is clear proof that the Plane of Ice is on Skye's side. They must have blocked off the entrance. Come on. We'll crunch them up, and keep them from making another barrier.

Have you seen the Ice Guardians before? They don't actually seem that dangerous. Their movements suggests that they want us to chase after them, and delve deeper into the cave. If this is a trap, be prepared.

Destinies Lost

Lady Celestia hears Dragonlings near the cavern where the path splits into three. She's troubled by their presence, and wants us to find them. If this is a grave, what are babies doing in here? Are they the ones making the cave shake so much? Let's track them down, and bring them to the Priestess.

Necromancy!? Or restless spirits? According to Galanoth, the name tags you found are given to Dragonlings meant to be partnered with Dragonlords. Dragonslayers avoid them if they're found roaming around. As far as I know, there aren't any Dragonlords in Skye, so why…

Iseul's here, but she's alone! Her Executors wanted to retreat because she was injured, so Iseul must have broken away to hunt us on her own. We have to incapacitate her. She's in the cavern with a huge skeleton. That must be Naoise…and a Dragonlord? His Dragonlord?

Huh!? She'd really accuse me of Necromancy? Wasn't she undercover in Undine?

Cold-Blooded Torture

The roars are coming from the eastmost caverns, and they're crawling with Ice Elementals. What's causing all of this noise? Are they…attacking someone? We need to stop them before they cause a cave-in!

They're attacking a Dragon that's been trapped in the cave! Gold chains and a giant lightning rod impaled through their abdomen are tethering them to the ground. Whoever this Dragon is, they're being held here by Skye's royal family.

Echoing Cries

Requirements: Must have completed the previous quest.

The restless spirits of the Dragonlings are gathering around the giant imprisoned Dragon as well. They're latching on to the one adult Dragon they've ever seen. We should help lay them to rest. Just seeing these spirits is another form of torture for this poor Dragon.

According to Lady Celestia, none of these Dragonlings are from the imprisoned Dragon's brood. Their progeny wouldn't have been allowed to hatch unless they had died…because they're Volgritian, the Great Dragon of Energy.

The being trapped in the Eastmost caverns is Volgritian, the Great Dragon of Energy. Lady Celestia says he must have been rotting here for centuries! The Ice Elementals and Dragonlings caused Volgritian to start thrashing in a fit of rage. We need to calm him before attempting any sort of rescue.

Reactive Inductor

Lady Celestia is slowly calming Volgritian's mind, but she needs our help to sever his chains. The Ice Elementals and Dragonlings are crawling all over him. I'll help you clear them out, and wrangle Volgritian to keep him still. That way, we're clear to remove the golden chains holding him down.

The largest obstacle is that lightning rod driven into Volgritian's back. It saps his energy, and stores it inside its orb. That doesn't bode well. What happens when it reaches full capacity? Does Lord Haeos not care at all about what's happening here? Where is he?

At Ease

The smoke signals warned us about the rising Undead, and it won't be hard to find them. I can hear them shambling through the fields. Let's ease into this, and cut a few of the Undead Garde down to get a better look at what we're up against.

Brentan and I recognize the Undead's family crests and armor. They're knights that served the nobles of King Duncan Drakath's court when he invaded Skye. Did they leave so hastily that they'd abandon their dead, or did Skye hoard their remains? I can't put anything past Iona's family.

Greenguard Daisy

Kieran says that the Hill of Lia is in the middle of a huge field of daisies. That sounds pretty nice, until you hear the shrieks of the Wraiths. It's odd - they're only chasing us away instead of trying to make us join them. Hmm, I see them carrying something in their hands. Let's take a closer look.

'Pushing up daisies' is another way of saying you're dead. In Skye, daisies grow over the graves of fallen heroes. In a sense, they're literally pushing those flowers up through the ground. Kieran says that the land itself grows daisies to mourn loss, even for strangers.

The Undead are acting oddly docile, and only attack if we try to advance closer to the Hill of Lia. I caught sight of Lord Granville's forces engaging in combat with them, too. They won't even draw blood. Hmm, help me fight more of the Wraiths and Undead Garde. I need to confirm a theory.

Whoever raised the Undead is very skilled. Their main goal is to push Greenguard out of the fields, not kill us. They're even physically removing anyone that's fallen on the ground. Could this be Caoimhe's doing? She did mention being skilled in necromancy.

Over there, where the snow's beginning to melt! We've found Lord Granville, and thank goodness, Muusa's with him too. If she's here, her advice would help Lord Granville act with more tact. Let's warn them about Queen Iona's trap, and withdraw Greenguard's forces.

Muusa already noticed that they were marching into a trap, but Lord Granville refused to listen to her. The research stolen from Seabase Undine was put to use. This is why Queen Iona wants us to go east. The entirety of this battlefield is a copy of Sparagmos!

Lord Granville isn't enthusiastic about it, but he'll withdraw his forces on my orders. As for us, we need to find Caoimhe, and a way to destroy Iona's trap. We're on the right track. Up ahead, a very powerful spirit was summoned to keep us from getting to the Hill of Lia. It's…King Duncan himself.

I prefer fighting monsters and facing down pure evil. In reality, real monsters are rare, and nothing is pure. I wish Duncan was just a monster. It'd make things easier for me. But, we're both human, and Iona's family took advantage of that.

King Duncan's spirit has receded into the mist. I wonder if the Necromancer that summoned him intended for this to happen. His Undead Garde and Wraiths remain. We'll need to clear them to find what they were raised to hide. Be on the lookout for anything else suspicious.

We're nearing the Hill of Lia, and it's surrounded by a lake! I see Henry on the shore with a boat. He ran off by himself to chase after Caoimhe, which means she must be near. We need to talk with Henry and find out what happened. Shatter the icy monsters surrounding him.

Even if Felix never saw the Warden of the South without her mask, it's clear to all of us that she's Caoimhe…or rather, Illaria. Iona sent her adopted daughter to spy on us, and push us East. Still, I agree with Lord Vaughn's judgment. She's kind at heart, and we could swing her back to our side.

I wonder how many of the Fianna lost children like Kieran did. Worse yet, how many were killed by their lost kin and didn't even know? Even if we defeat Queen Iona, can any of them heal and become family again?

Whatever Queen Iona was planning, the Hill of Lia is at the center of it. Clear the Cailleacha and Ice Guardians out so we can find Caoimhe. She's likely giving commands from the top of the Hill. Don't engage with her yet. Maybe we can convince her to stand down.

She's wielding the Bananach Staff. No wonder she could raise an army of the Undead. Caiomhe…no, Illaria was kind and caring to the Fianna. That felt real to me, but Iona raised her. We need to choose our actions carefully. I don't want Kieran's heart to break a second time.

Greenguard's forces will march west to the capital city of Skye. Though Illaria's command over the Undead has broken, they're still roaming the battlefield. Cut them down, and give them true rest. When this is over, we'll return their bones to their homeland.

I don't care if they served the Drakath Dynasty anymore. They upheld their oaths and served their King. This Crown led them here to die for it, and no one should be trapped this far from home. When we come back…I'll find Brentan and bring him home too.

Needs of the Few

The gates swung open for us, but we shouldn't let our guard down. Before we go deeper into the castle, talk to Lord Vaughn and clear out the Energy Elementals. I need to make sure the Capital won't burst into flames the moment we turn our backs.

According to Lord Vaughn, this is where the pampered Nobles napped as the common folk cried and starved. Swordhaven turning into something like this den of sloth is my worst nightmare. At least this makes the Knights' jobs easier. The strange Elementals they saw…that's worrying.

It's freezing here, even inside the royal castle. Those Ice Guardians must be around, and now we know they're here to protect Abel. The stairs to the upper floors are blocked off, so maybe Abel doesn't know we're inside yet. Let's knock his Guardians down and get his attention.

The ice blocking the stairs won't melt like it did at Naoise's Grave. Maybe Abel's trying to guide us down a different path. If he can't come down and direct us himself, that means Queen Iona might have him imprisoned.

The ice melted! That's where Abel wants us to go. Deeper below Castle Gaheris, what used to be the Temple of Energy, are the…kennels. That's where Indradeep and his sisters were raised. How could anyone treat children like that? Or were they all just animals to Queen Iona?

Below the ground, where Queen Iona and her nobles feasted, were her children's living quarters. These 'kennels' are just dungeons! She made Indradeep and the others sleep in cells! We need to clear the Elementals and Guardians out of them so we can see what else Queen Iona's trying to hide.

I get an odd feeling from being in the dungeons. It reminds me of the lower levels of Seabase Undine. I thought it was just being in complete darkness that bothered me, but suffering seeped into the Temple of Water's stones…just like it did here.

Just like I thought. The ice blocking the stairs to the upper floors has melted. Let's begin our ascent. Stronger Ice Elementals are waiting for us. These Glacial Crystals don't seem to want anyone getting to Abel, and will even act against his will.

I'm wearing heavy clothing, but just being near the Glacial Crystals is turning my skin blue. This isn't the first time I've fought Elementals. They're not usually this tough. I wonder if it's because of Abel. He's not a Champion, right? What do Envoys do again? Ah, the Avatar of Kyanos, not his Plane.

Captain Rhubarb's at the top of the stairs! Hurry! We need to make sure he's unharmed! If he's free, and so close to the royal bed chambers, it could be Abel's doing. There isn't anyone else around. We can look for anything that could hint at Iona's contingency plans. Leave no stone unturned.

What Rhubarb had to say, and what we found in Iona's diary…she murdered her own family to become Queen. Abel willingly worked with that kind of person? You know him well, and I can guess what you're thinking. Even if he was angry, he'd never help someone so unapologetically foul.

Opposite of the royal chambers is the door to the balcony outside. Abel's there, sleeping in a chair, cradling some sort of crystal on his lap. He's being guarded by a huge Elemental. We won't be able to get to him unless we take it down.
