Clearing the Cargo hold

Requirements: Must have Golden Scale (1) to access this quest.

Ignore the local wildlife, it's the corrupted pirate ship and crew you need to watch out for. These pirates are too blinded by their greed to leave the dragon egg alone.

Curious how the curse hasn't turned the crew into statues. I'd hate to see effects of corruption once Xergon's curse has full hold on a body. Hold on to this Crystal Fragment, you'll need it alter!

An anti-Au gauntlet is needed to grab Xergon's egg. See what materials these corrupted monsters have hiding. With enough leather and anti-Au crystals, Xergon's egg in our grasp.

Livings Waters are the universal solvent of the animal kingdom, add a little gold corruption on top of that title and we have a beast we can't let be. Get evaporating hero!

We're practically swimming in these guys, so there's no defeating their forces, only hope the Living Water will leave us alone. Hold on to this Flagon of Water…think of it as keeping a hostage to ensure their good behavior!

Gold Men Tell No Tales

Xergon's egg turned these normal pirates into greedy guardians. Now that the curse ruined their lies, they will never let it out of their sights. Take out some Cursed Pirates and Gilded Crystal Undead.

In any other situation I'd salute Nubar for living the life of a treasure hunter - it's a shame Xergon's curse rendered him stark raving mad. Hold onto this old weapon from one of the crew members, we may need it later.

Taking Sides

The Merdraconian are beginning to understand their current predicament. If Captain Nubar and his corrupted crew can persuade the Merdraconian to their side, our expedition is dead in the water. Strike fear into the fish beasts and get them to join us!

Your influence is enough to separate the two parties. But the question is: For how long? Keep hold of this shell from a Merdraconian. We might need it later.

Crystallized Crew

Requirements: Must have Shell to access this quest.

A gold-corrupted crew is nothing without their greedy captain. A crew this loyal would rather have their bones ground before giving up the Captain's cabin key. If we can't find the key, maybe the brutes have something else to break down the door. Check those Crystallized Undead for a crowbar!

That's the exact item needed to pry open Captain Nubar's quarters. If anyone who knows where Xergon is hidden, it's him.

I'm sure the gold and guilt of dooming his crew has driven Captain Nubar crazy, be careful when confronting him. Don't want my partner in crime sent to Davy Jones' Locker.

That's what Nubar and his get for stealing the Gold Dragon's egg without proper precautions. Find the Trapdoor and you find Xergon- but be careful, take the Anti-Au Gauntlet with you.
