Hello there, young hero! It has been ages since I have seen anyone from the mainland here on Yokai Isle! Call me Obaasan, I sell Akiba style houses and rare house items that you can't get anywhere else! I also happen to know most of the ancient tales of Yokai Isle if you wish to listen.

Yokai are a kind of monster but not all of them are dangerous, like the Chochinobake, or Lamp Yokai that you can see around Akiba lighting our streets at night. The Yokai and humans used to live side by side and even depended on each other. But that was a long time ago… most people on this island have forgotten the Yokai now.
