Impatient much? Me too. Charging Aisha's fortress is the quickest way to end her reign. But if we charge in right now, the village will be vulnerable to a blindside ambush. Go into the Northlands and vanquish FrostWyrms in order to ensure the village's security. When you have collected 6 Hearts of Ice, we can move forward with our plan. And by "our plan" I mean "my plan."

FrostWyrms are no longer a threat to Guwio. Let's move one step closer to charging Aisha's fortress!

A Key Discovery (Charge the Fortress)

Requirements: Must have completed either the previous or 'Element of Surprise' quest.

With the Frost Golems out of the way, we need to find a way through the front door. Since you broke Aisha's last door, she has set up a more solid, complex entrance with higher security measures. There are strange fissures in the door if I recall correctly… maybe one of those monsters will have a key or something that can be used to open the door.

Hmmm… What an odd stone. I think this has something to do with opening that door of her's.

Forgery (Charge the Fortress)

Requirements: Must have completed either the previous or 'Interrogation' quest.

Go get another mysterious stone from one of the monsters, but this time put it in the forge and see if there is anything hidden inside. If something comes out, bring it back to me so we can set out next course of action. Hurry. I haven't got all day.

Well look at that. A Chaos Gemerald. This seems to be the same size as the fissures in the front door. This will undoubtedly fit into one of them… but there are 5 other fissures that need to be filled…

Forging Gemeralds (Charge the Fortress)

Requirements: Must have completed either the previous or 'Locked On Combinations' quest.

Chaos Gemeralds fit into the door. This is how we are going to unlock the door. And then charge right in unannounced. Go fight some monsters until you have collected another 5 mysterious stones. Take them to the forge in town, extract the chaos gemeralds, and bring them back to me so I can brief you on your final mission.

Element Of Surprise (Sneak into Fortress)

The element of surprise is far more powerful than any other magic element known to man. Sneaking through the back door to Aisha's fortress is a wise decision. However, you will need to find a code in order to solve the unique combination cipher. To get a better idea of what I am talking about, take this Carbon Parchment to the back gate and get me an imprint of the lock. We can then assess our next step to the plan.

Well, this sure looks complicated. I can't read any of this… we're going to need to find someone - or something - to help translate.

Interrogation (Sneak into Fortress)

Requirements: Must have completed either the previous or 'Ice Cold Heart' quest.

Now that we have a good idea of what the combination cipher looks like, it's time for us to gather up some clues. And by "us" I mean "you." I am positive that at least one of Aisha's minions knows the combination. "Interrogate" the monsters of the Frozen Northlands for any clues that might be of use to us. And I really mean "us" this time.

Oh, now that is weird… this monster let slip the first digit of the combination, but it's a number! We'll have to investigate some more.

Locked On Combinations (Sneak into Fortress)

Requirements: Must have completed either the previous or 'A Key Discovery' quest.

Since you found that first combination number, there are bound to be others. This just may be our only hope to decoding that cipher at the back gate. Go back out and "interrogate" the monsters to find 3 more numbers!

Yes! We finally have the four numbers to the combination, 1, 3, 4, 7! But wait… this won't work, the lock has runes on it, not numbers! We need to find a way to decode this…

Combo Breaker (Sneak into Fortress)

Requirements: Must have completed either the previous or 'Forgery' quest.

Now that we have all the numbers for the combination, we just need to figure out what rune they represent. There has to be some sort of decoder out there… something that we can use to figure out the combination… There has to be something in the Frozen Northlands to help us figure it out. Search through the piles of snow monsters to see if any clues are buried deep within their inventories!

Defeating the Defenders

The cave is flooded with monsters. We need to eliminate the masses before mining the Paragon Jewel. And by "we" I really mean "you." Defeat 10 of these jewel defenders so you can mine a jewel without being bombarded by those devious creatures.

Picky about Picks

Don't think for a second you can just hack and slash your way through the cave walls to mine a Jewel. This is the Void we're dealing with, and *normal* weapons won't work in this realm. What you need to do is find an Ahzite Pick. One of those cave monsters should have one… Only when you find this rare item will you be able to mine a Paragon Jewel.

I swear… half-dtragon men can be so stubborn… hmph. So anyway. Wanna get your hands dirty? Dig a few pitfalls so that if that elf oaf makes his way near the tomb… he'll fall right in! AHAAH!

Ghastplasm is a Blast

Now that the pitfalls have been dug, let's impede his path even more! I remember a magic recipe for creating a fog so thick and murky that not even dragons can see through it! What we need is Ghastplasm… and a lot of it. And the Void is the only place to find Ghastplasm—what luck. Collect 12 vials of Ghastplasm so we can concoct up a nice dense Void Fog.

Aghast over Ghastplasm

Now that we have all this Ghastplasm, we can create a nice thick Void fog. It's really simple. All you have to do is place a few drops of the Ghastplasm in the locations I've already marked. I enchanted each spot with some magic sparkles so that you know where to put the Ghastplasm. Please hurry!

I think one more trap should do it. No sign of Ryuuji…yet… but it's better to be safe than married. The Void Larva around here are pretty tame but can be a nasty enemy when provoked. And do you know the best way to do so other than double-clicking? …by spreading their duct scent! Yup. It's as gross as it sounds. And that's why I'm asking YOU to do it. Gather 6 Void Larva Ducts and ring them back to me.
