Fluid Dynamics

Requirements: Must have completed the previous quest.

Now for the fun part! A necromancy spell will give life to the dead, but we need something more to keep it going. Something… GORE, you might say! Not the common sort you'd find inside a living person, but something more eldritch in nature. Something from a Sanguine Souleater should do the trick.

WHAT?! They've got my apprentices held captive with light spells? Well, go help them! The Lightguard will be carrying scrolls to break the spells. Find the scrolls. BREAK the SPELLS.

Illusory Disguise

Requirements: Must have completed the previous quest.

Sometimes even the strongest of us can benefit from a little subtlety. Before you head into the Lightguard fortress, I will cast an illusion to make you look like one of them. Bring me 4 pieces of undamaged Lightguard armor, some Arcane Energy from the lical treeants, and some Necrotic Ooze from the slimes near the tower. These are the only reagents I will need.

That bone marrow won't be enough on its own. I'll need some Arcane Ooze as well - to help activate it. Necromantic chemistry is so interesting! You can get it from the Slime Skulls or the local treeants.

Note: Quest can only be accepted in Screen 6.

So, that's the Lightguard's secret weapon. Something tells me we'd better not let it finish charging. Destroy it before it does.

If you want this Necronomicon, you'll have to pass a final examination. What do you mean I "owe you one"? This is your favor, the privilege to take part in this exam. The exam will consist of a written and physical portion. The written portion can be done at the desk in the next room. For the physical portion you can uhh… better familiarize yourself with Liches. Bring me the following:

Bone Dust from various Undead, or from me if you dare.

Sapphire Orbs from the Legion Lich Lord.

The Shadow Lich armor, as proof of your evil deeds.

The Lich of the Stone's armor, because I want it.
