You never know what you'll find in a shop like mine… or what is lying to you. What you NEED are Truth Glasses! And wouldn't you know, the Chaotic ShadowScythe Aliens stole my last pair! While you're here, destroy 13 of the Darkness Ghosts living inside them.

You DO know about the Ghosts of Darkness, right? You'll run into them at some time, I'm sure. And remember: Seek the truth; don't let another creatures' actions dictate your own.

Deep Cleanse

I closed the shop solely for Voltaire to browse unbothered. The closure will have to be extended until the mess can be swept under the rug. That's all of the wood splinters, fuzz tufts, and Alejandro's droppings. Help with the cleaning and you can take your share of the remunerations.

Work Safe Spirits

Mysterious Johnson's shop has transdimensional wonders up for sale. They're only available to buyers who can handle unfathomable secrets, and won't file lawsuits if they get the mental equivalent of cuts and bruises. Go at the cursed artifacts for a couple of rounds to show Mysterious Johnson that your body and mind can take a few hits.

Mysterious Johnson is impressed by your durability! Direct contact with evil spirits, cursed objects, and cursed objects possessed by evil spirits can rot the soul. Mysterious Johnson has deep knowledge of the effects, having had to scrape the rotted bits off of himself thanks to his delightful occupation.

Painstubs

Mysterious Johnson has bought and sold dozens of cursed artifacts possessed by evil spirits. Are you curious about their histories? Even if you are not, Mysterious Johnson feels like chatting. Take a look at the shop's records. Mysterious Johnson put a spell on the invoice copies to repel intruders. You have his permission to tug them out of the mini-tornados.

Even Mysterious Johnson doesn't remember some of the shop's transactions. If you check a few of the invoices, you will find that they're marked with dates thousands of years from now. Mysterious Johnson would have thought they were clerical errors but in Lore, nothing is beyond the realm of possibility.

Innocent Offerings

Let Mysterious Johnson tell you about the evil spirit in Alejandro. He doesn't deal with just any run of the mill sheet ghost or dehydrated ghoul. The shop is made to house spirits of complexity. That being said, Alejandro is causing a ruckus because Mysterious Johnson doesn't sell toys. Craft a stuffed toy or five for the eternal youngster to busy himself with until Sally returns to pick him up.

+ When Completed

Alejandro's spirit, before its appearance was twisted, was that of a young child's. This is why he's so attached to Sally, a necromancer who refuses to grow up. Alejandro is considered evil because children at the age he perished tend to lack a moral compass. They squeeze small animals too hard and all that noise. Why was Mysterious Johnson keen to have a spirit like that in his shop? You shall receive the answer in due course.

Linearity

In the realm of the living, people like you see time as a river. It flows one way and doesn't normally turn back. But in the realm of spirits, out of Lore's bounds, that concept is not so concrete. Spirits cling to what is familiar to them and decide to see time and events in Lore linearly, like a river. But, Alejandro didn't get to learn his letters before he perished, let alone the concept of linear time. Play-fight with him to understand his point of view.

+ When Completed

Spirits like Alejandro see time as an ocean instead of a one-way river. They can dip in and out of our reality at any point in time. For example, Alejandro answered Sally's summons and materialized at a point in time where his physical body had not been born yet. Do you understand the issues this could cause? That is why Mysterious Johnson deals with those kinds of spirits. So a certain Hero will have less problems on their plate.
