Crusaders Schmusaders

The guards treated me badly, but the worst of the bunch are the Crusaders! Even worse is the Grand Inquisitor himself, since he hardly ever leaves the Citadel! The Crusaders are the most zealous of them all, and take the most joy in suspending me upside down in a bucket of Orc Horc sweat! Show me you mean business by bring me 4 Crusader Gauntlets!

Bad Captains

The Crusaders and the Guards had the most "hands on" part in my torture, but the Captains are the ones who gave the orders! How about we - uh, YOU - go give them a piece of my mind?!! Bring me 2 Captain's Insignia and I will be in your debt (minus interest, of course)!

Murry's Hunch

No, not the hunch in my back!! THIS is the hunch I mean: I think the Grand Inquisitor is up to something— He has always been very secretive, and I'm sure he doesn't tell the whole truth to all of his followers. While in captivity, I saw the Guards and Crusaders all carrying little devices that I can only call Mana Vacuums— that they seems to use to suck magic power right out of myself and other prisoners! Bring me 10 of those stupid vacuums— just to get them off the street! I hate those stupid things!

Magic Overload!

Hmm… these vacuums make me wonder what the Inquisitors do with it all once they collect it! So I took one apart— it looks like they funnel the magic into little orbs that hold it, and compress it, making it even more powerful! I wish I could do that! I hear that the archmage Warlic can actually do something like that— with just his mind! Anyway, go get me 5 of those Mana Amplifiers. If I'm right, then the Grand Inquisitor is collecting magic for himself, and not just destroying it! If you succeed I will make you one of my staves!

Wheee! You destroyed the Magic Devouring Beast! Now it's up to you to give the Grand Inquisitor a taste of his own medicine! That hypocrite has been saying magic is bad for years, and buliding up hatred among normal folk toward mages, but all the while he was stealing magic from us to use for his own evil purposes! Go kick his butt, friend! Bring me his fine silken gloves when you do ;)

Summoning Complete

Requirement: Must have completed 'Magic Overload!' quest.

The Inquisitor isn't very perceptive on the concept of time but he finally finished the summoning! Belrot the Fiend answered the Inquisitor's call! Hero, you must go defeat this beast of destruction before all magic is hunted down and drained from this land. Bring me back Belrot's head so we can be certain of it's demise.

You have destroyed the fiend summoned by the Grand Inqusitor! How brave and mighty you are! It has fallen to you to face the Grand Inqusitor himself now. He must be stopped to ensure that the Inquisitors cannot continue. Chop off the head and the body will die! Bring me the Grand Inquisitor's Ring of Evil Intent to prove that you bested him.
