Prove Your Worth

Find and kill Osanshouo, the giant salamander If you can survive his strong claws and venomous bite, then I will feel safe under your protection.

Light for the Lantern

Requirements: Must have completed the previous quest.

In order to do what you ask, I need the use of my lantern. Its flame has run low, and I will need to replenish it. Of course, a spirit lantern can only use spectral flame. Get some from the Kosenjobi and bring it to me.

Attune to Fuyurei

Requirements: Must have completed the previous quest.

In order to pinpoint the locations of the ley lines, I will need to attune my lantern to the various spirits in the area. First, collect the energy of the Fuyurei - their Ki - and bring it back to me here. Then, we will use it to attune my lantern to them.

Follow the Path

Now that my lantern is attuned to the Fuyurei, we can use it to see the roads they travel. Follow the path that my lantern reveals to you.

Now we must map the path of the Kijimuna. Don't give me that look! My work requires much patience and much redundancy. Collect the Ki of the Kijimuna and bring it back to me. Then, as before, use it to attune mv lantern to those spirits.

Black Flames

Requirements: Must have completed the previous quest.

All of that work was NOT for nothing! Now that I have mapped three Spirit Roads, I can see where they currently intersect. This intersection is where we will speak to the ancestral spirits who guard these roads. But in order to do that, we must draw their attention. Only the brightest black flame will do. Get it from the Kosenjobi.
