Help Professor Maedoc

To be one with the earth, you must know it inside and out. Break open the Balboas in /stalagbite and return with 25 Geodes. Do THAT, and you will understand the nature of my lessons better.

Fungal Networking

My druid brethren and I hear Nature's words rustling in the leaves. When I began to learn the ways of my forefathers, I expected a wise and motherly voice, but Nature's is full of playful youth. Just as I did, go harvest Myconids from /guardiantree and track down the Gurushroom from /greenguardeast. Gathering from Nature is how humanity came to stand on its own. We can learn much from returning to our roots.

Admittedly, I believed that this task was a meaningless chore when I could have been practicing magic. But, I found myself purposely lost near the Guardian Tree, and found the company of friendly strangers in Greenguard. She was teaching me to appreciate peace instead of power, and forge connections beyond that of my druid brethren. As for the shrooms you gathered, they will make fine reagents, or a salad.

Powder Sugar Faeries

Requirements: Must have completed the 'Bear Essentials' quest.

Along with the Auberon, Snow Faeries protect and take shelter in Glace's tomb. They tend to keep to themselves, but now, they're attacking us unprovoked. Catch them before they damage the structure.

+ When Completed

The Faeries revert into snowballs when defeated, but it doesn't mean they're dead. Tara and Aria were quite upset until I clarified that no harm was done. Just don't use them in a snowball fight, it's quite demanding.

Water Intoxication

Requirements: Must have completed the previous quest.

Thanks to you, I was able to determine that the denizens of the glacier aren't attacking us with malice. They're lashing out because they're in pain from something within. Wrestle the remaining Auberon down, and bring me small samples of their blood.

+ When Completed

The northern Druids who transformed into these noble bears should still be warm blooded, but I can see that ice crystals are manifesting in their veins. Too much water in your blood causes bodily harm and addles your thinking. I don't think necromancy magic is behind this.
