Good day, I'm Leofric and I am absolutely blown away! Swordhaven castle is beautiful! Common folk like me could only dream about being inside - oh, I suppose I'm not a commoner anymore. But, I was to speak with the King on behalf of my wife in the throne room. The other nobles told me the meeting was moved here. It's been an hour and…ah, I've been had. My daughter did tell me this could happen.
Title
I'm actually not of noble blood. After King Alteon took the throne, my wife was able to explore outside the castle after her first husband died in the rebellion. We met and fell in love, but Catherine had to ask King Alteon to allow nobles and commoners to marry. He was met with a good amount of pushback from his court, but he fought to have the law changed. I took my wife's surname, and we are eternally grateful!
Lands
Cathy, er, my wife's family protects the land that lies near the border of Greenguard and Darkovia. Her loyal knights are experts in combating dangers that escape from the endless night. When you're in the area, ask the gatekeeper to invite you to the castle for supper. I have little to brag about, but my bread pudding could make a vampire grow bored of blood.
Rumors
If you happen to hear rumors of my wife and daughter practicing evil witchcraft, don't believe them! They are well versed in magic, but they would never cast a hex on Princess Victoria. That poor young lady is always under terrible scrutiny, whether it's about her adventurous nature or ailing health. She's often hiding away from the public in her room, likely tired of these nonsense rumors.
