Journeying Noble
It's good to see you! Empress Ai No Miko, Baoyu, and I were talking about what happened after I left the Isles. To be honest, I don't even know where to begin. That said, I wish I had been there to help during the Draconic Invasion. You're so capable that I forget how your renown could put you in incredible danger. Should you ever be in peril, I will come to your aid. It doesn't matter who you are. As your friend, I want to be your support.
Travel
I've been all over the continent, and it's been an eye opening journey. There's a lot of life I've missed because my world was made entirely of castles and warfare. It was good to see how the civilians live, and understand what they need to thrive. Visiting the Yokai Isles taught me there's much we could learn from other nations. There's a ship waiting for me on the beach. After I finish here, I'll be traveling across the sea to expand my horizons.
Visit
I snuck in through the kitchens in order to keep a low profile. There are some who still want me on the throne, and I'd rather not cause any more trouble for Victoria. I was hoping to meet her so we could visit King Alteon and Brittany's graves together…but it looks like she'll be too busy to see me. Let Victoria know that I bid her well. I'll send letters during my trip overseas.
Victoria
It's a shame… I haven't been able to see Victoria since I left to go soul searching. I tried to arrange a visit after I left the Yokai Isles, but the royal caravan was constantly on the move. Victoria has been very busy trying to unify her Nobles, and forge stronger relationships with her people in their time of need. I do hope she has enough time to rest. Victoria is still my sister-in- law. I care for her as I would a blood relative.
After completing the 'Queensmen' quest:
Journeying Noble
I was about to slip away after catching up with Empress Ai No Miko, but Lord Vaughn stopped me. He said that you were investigating what's beneath the cellar. As far as I know, the Alteons moved a majority of the previous dynasty's heirlooms to Balemorale. Maybe Queen Victoria recently added to it? I'm curious as well. Lady Song and Lady Marigold are joining you, so I'll be nearby to help keep you all safe.

My ship is small, it has to be fast enough to outrun the lightning and ice. If it isn't, I'll swim my way to Skye. Back during the Mana Crisis, and in the Yokai Isles, I was nothing but a burden and a threat. This time, I'll save you, my friend. If Skye finds out about your true nature…if something were to happen to you, I could never look Victoria in the eye again. This isn't about the safety of Lore. I'm tired of failing the people I care about.

Disputed Ruler of Swordhaven
I appreciate you checking in on us, but the invading forces haven’t reached us yet. If you’re looking for someone to help, there are other lands that are more in need of it than we are.
- Darkovia Invasion
- Shadowfall Invasion
After completing the 'YOU again!' quest:
Disputed Ruler of Swordhaven
If we’re going to beat this army, we’ll need to take a page out of its own playbook. That means collecting Infernal armor, Infernal energy, everything they would use to fight against this same kind of attack.
Isn't that… Evil?
The Infernals are using weapons powered with Celestial energy. Does that make them good? Look, I’m not saying it’s an ideal situation, but my main concern is protecting the people of Swordhaven. I’ll do what I have to do to keep them safe.
- Lord Brentan's Quests
After completing the 'Arm the Armored' quest:
Disputed Ruler of Swordhaven
No! This can't be happening now! We aren't ready! There was so much more preparation to be done! All we can do now is hold our ground, fight to the best of our ability, and hope that is enough!
After completing the 'It's Baaaaack!' quest:
Disputed Ruler of Swordhaven
I've got your back, my friend. We won't let this beast have Swordhaven, too! I'll hold off the hounds and soldiers while you destroy him!
Guardian of the Neverglades
None of these warriors knows the land of people of Swordhaven as well as I. It will be a pleasure to show them what skill a son of the Neverglades has!
Journeying Noble
You're on your feet! Thank goodness you're well. I was escorting Lady Celestia to this cave, but we couldn't get through the ice. None of the fire spells our Mages know can melt it. There's movement behind the barrier, so I'm sure the wall was conjured with magic.
Trio
You, me, and Victoria, working together again. I was worried we'd be kept separated by our responsibilities. The circumstances are less than ideal, but it's almost as if we're on an adventure for the storybooks. If only this were an expedition instead of a war…Tara could have come with us too. After we return, I'm confident that all of you can talk and understand each other. I'll do everything in my power to make that happen.
Lords
While you and Galanoth were incapacitated, Victoria and I rejoined our forces with Lord Vaughn's. Lord Granville and the other Nobles have gone further, and are securing the East in anticipation of Queen Victoria's arrival. Hopefully, they were able to see her smoke signals. I have…a thorny relationship with Lord Vaughn. His brother was in our care for a time before he passed away from a disease. Pst, I'll tell you the truth of it when he's not so close by.
Robina
I remember when Victoria disguised herself to participate in the tournament where you and I met. It was a big surprise to me. She was always so quiet, and hid in her room all day. Brittany forced herself to gasp, but I knew it was an act…In hindsight, it was obvious that Victoria was Robina the Hood. She even dropped out of a tree and robbed me before, but I came prepared with a carriage of gold. See, I was a fan. Honest! You can ask Victoria yourself.
After completing the 'Dragon's Seal' quest:
Journeying Noble
As soon as the fighting ends, I'll find a quill. You have to know what Bananach showed me! I can't say it out loud, because…who knows who might be listening in. You understand, don't you? I am absolutely in way over my head, but what good am I as a friend if I can't do anything to help you? I worry that every burden in the world will be thrust on your shoulders. Victoria, Galanoth - everyone here has to prove that we're strong enough to be your support.

Hail and well met, Hero! There are many people you'll need to speak with inside the Keep before the invasion grows worse.
Just click the ! bubble over their head, and they'll tell you what you need to know.
Remember to pay attention if you see a blue arrow.
They indicate things that should be noted or clicked on.
Prince… Or King?
Ah, it's you. I expected you'd show up sooner or later. Your "friend" did, and gave me a long list of instructions I do NOT have time for. But if you can help me here, I'll hand the note over to you.
- Lord Brentan's Quests
Disputed Ruler of Swordhaven
We don't know what this Rift is, but we need to find out. Victoria and Gravelyn think it would be reckless to send in an army before we have more information, so we've sent a few scouts to get intel on the area. They haven't come back. We sent one of our finest warriors after them, but he has not returned, either. It doesn't look good.
Militia
Ah, I knew you and I were of the same mind! We may not be able to go in YET, but we can keep the monsters surrounding the edges of our camp at bay. And we can make sure that, once we've found a way to survive those fumes, we'll have an army ready to destroy that Rift and everything in it.

After completing the 'What Happened to Baldric?' quest:
Disputed Ruler of Swordhaven
Victoria and Gravelyn want us to wait to see what comes out of the Rift. I say we should be finding a way to get inside it, NOW, so we can destroy whatever is on the other side before it can cross over into Lore! Surely Warlic can get to work on some kind of magic hazmat suit? But we'll need all our forces united if we're to stand a chance. I am eager to fight, but I won't be reckless.

Baldric
Baldric's fate, and the desperate message he sent, have proven that the situation is even worse than we had realized. What toxin could possibly act so quickly? It's almost as if it was created solely for the purpose of exterminating us.

Wayward Lord
My knights are aware of our plan, and have dressed as pirates to join Empress Ai No Miko's crew. The crew is ready to escort the passengers into the cave. According to the Empress, her magic seal will prevent anyone but family members of the Yokai Royalty from entering the cave. With the passengers safe, we'll scare the Wuji fleet off with my hostage act. Hopefully, I can make a convincing hapless noble… I suppose I'm already there.
Pirates
When I was a child, I used to play pretend catching pirates, not being one. To me, they're dirty criminals without any shred of dignity. I may be in the minority here. Many of my knights are fond of the accent, and have taken to their acting roles. Even in Swordhaven, Victoria talked some pirates, including a man named Rhubarb, into sailing under Greenguard's colors. They'll be paid to explore, and plunder the Queendom's enemies.
Journey
When the matter of Malgor was settled, I renounced my claim to Greenguard's throne alongside Tara. My conduct during the Mana Crisis was shameful… unbecoming of a man, much less a King. Perhaps I am sheltered and out of touch with what actually happens in my homeland. Going on a journey alone was meant to broaden my understanding of the world and better myself. Obviously, I'm not done making mistakes yet.
Swordhaven
Queen Victoria? Outside of receiving messages directed to the nobility as a whole, I have not heard from her. She must be busy seeing to the recovery of Swordhaven, and the influx of emissaries from other Kingdoms and Queendoms. I am…humbled by how fast she put Swordhaven back on its feet. I even hear that our defensive forces have been bolstered, given new weapons, and strengthened by new medical advancements.
After completing the 'Proper Parley' quest:
Wayward Lord
Our plan worked but Admiral Zheng is already inside the cave chasing after the Wuji refugees. He is actually related to Empress Ai No Miko by blood. The situation is beginning to escalate, and I still think talking with the Admiral is worth a try. When I met Admiral Zheng, I sensed he was similar to me. Determined to a fault, burdened with pride, and lonely. If I see an opening for them to talk, I want to convince the Empress…

After completing the 'Pearl of my Heart' quest:
Wayward Lord
I intend to return to soul-searching, but Empress Ai No Miko has invited us to tea with her family. It would be nice to have a short breather, and learn more about our allies in the Isles. Admittedly, I don't know much about Yokai- and it definitely showed today. My friend, would you walk with me for a moment longer before we go our separate ways? Once our personal journeys are finished, I hope our paths will cross again- yours, mine, Victoria's, and Tara's.
