This is how I work: you want the thing, I give you the thing, but like any good deal, we need a contract! Bring me 10 Fresh Souls from any of the Guards or Inquisitors in the /citadel, then we can discuss about prices. More power, means more work, which means more souls! Easy, huh? Then go get some! Oh, don't forget you need to do it in my name. It will make sure the Soul will come right to me.

Heard you're into some hardcore tasks. I've got something here and there for you, but FIRST, let's make a deal. There is some stuff I will need you to bring in order to summon this big guy here, and I need to make sure you agree with all the terms and so on. First I'll need Human Souls from any human in /noxustower, Fallen Souls from the Undead Paladin in /doomwood, and just one Soul Potion from /alchemy. Oh, don't forget you need to do it in my name. It will make sure the Souls will come right to me.

Requirements:

Just like you can bring the shadow out of a paladin, you can pull it out of a weapon of darkness. If you'd like to see what happens when we pull on the Shadowscythe's weapons, bring me some of their gear and we'll see what happens.

Requirements:

The shadows of Chaos are…complicated. I heard that its nature changes depending on who's holding the reins. Ironically, the person in question is possessive of his thralls, seeking to use Chaos as a method of control. What would happen if we were to pull the shadows from items infected by Chaos? Bring some to me and we'll find out.

For a number of reasons, Hollowborn Legionnaires are rare, so having you study their habits and shadows will be a boon. Collect some of their more mundane items and bring them here.

Look at how those folks are setting up a tourist trap right outside the town's gates. They don't even live here and they're dragging travelers over to make them listen to their sermon. On our way to town, we might need to gently tell them we're not buying what they're selling. Too bad for them if they try to bully and throw the first punch. We'll throw the last punch.

The people of Trygve approached us for help with making a strengthening tincture. After that mess at the graves, I suppose they're bracing themselves for what's to come. They'll need a lot to go around.

While you are concealed with shadows, it might be hard to stay hidden with all these lights. Try taking out a couple before we proceed.

Now that we know the nature of Gramiel's power, we should study its properties. Collect some of Gramiel's Grace that he has bestowed to his followers. The stronger the user, the more Grace you should be able to extract.

The way to Gramiel's throne room is heavily guarded. I want our arrival to be a surprise, so let's knock down a few of his soldiers. They should have notes on who's patrolling and when.

Before we move on, we should take another look at the Vindicator Assassin, Beast Tamer, and Priest. There could be worse waiting around the corner, and I…want to know if I'd recognize anyone else.
