Strange Creatures

Ever since the fighting started, more and more of these Abumi Guchi have been showing up - creatures formed from the stirrups of fallen soldiers. Slay as many as you can, and come back to me.

There are sure to be more, but their numbers have been culled to a manageable level for now.

  • Dropped by Abumi Guchi (Version 1)

Arm the Militia

Requirements: Must have completed the previous quest.

We have a small militia who are expected to fight alongside Jaaku's Shadow Samurai. If we could arm the rest of the village, the militia could fight against the Shadow Samurai rather than with them. Defeat the samurai, and take their weapons and armor for my people.

Thank you! This will strengthen us greatly.

Burn the Bones

Requirements: Must have completed the previous quest.
Note: This quest can only be completed once.

Many of the spirits that haunt this valley are the restless ghosts of fallen soldiers. We can keep this at bay, to some extent, by cremating their bones. Use the flames from the Kosenjobi to do this.

Did that have an effect? I suppose we will see.

• Bones Burnt x6
