If we're going to get this Elemental Mana Cannon functioning I'm going to have to make a few modifications. Head over to /dwakel /crashsite and gather as much scrap metal as you can. If they don't give you any willingly you might have to fight them for it. Any enemy there will do.While you do that I'll be heading over to swordhaven to see if the royal navy is intact. Maybe they can lend us a ship.

Mana Holder

Requirements: Must have Pirate Booty I in your inventory.

I'm going to go to the Skyguard and see if they can lend us an airship. While I do that you should gather the resources we need to make one of my inventions… a mana cylinder. They hold liquified mana, an incredibly powerful and condensed form of the energy we use to cast spells. If we're going to modify a mana cannon we'll need a modified cylinder. Head over to /mafic and see if any of the living fire there have Mysterious molten metal.

This metal has no magical properties whatsoever and does not conduct any elemental energy at all. Basically, we can store mana in it without the energy leaking out or fading away. I'm glad at least you've made progress. Stratos said that after the final battle against chaos they have no ships to spare. We'll have to look elsewhere.

A Scoop Full of Mana

Requirements: Must have Pirate Booty II in your inventory.

Now that you you've got a modified mana cylinder you're going to need to fill it with mana. We need it done fast so visit the /elemental plane of magic where all the mana in lore comes from and fill it there.It's too dangerous for you to deal with liquid mana directly so kill mana imps and mana falcons until you fill the mana cylinder with mana droplets. While you fill up the mana cylinder I'm going to journey to Lolosia to see if I can charter a merchant ship for our voyage.

No merchants want to risk such a dangerous journey not matter how much I offer to pay them. I can't say I am surprised. At least the mana cylinder is charged and full right to the brim. You seem highly skilled when it comes to handling magical reagents. This could lead to great things in the future.

Test it for... Magic?

Requirements: Must have Pirate Booty III in your inventory.

I've never made a mana cylinder quite like this one before so we'll need to make sure it's safe. We don't want giant elemental explosions after all. You'll have to go to my secret forge Once you get there you'll want to take the…mana…charge…….. I gave you an incredibly detailed explanation of how to safely test it and you fell asleep. Since you're not interested just go kill monsters in /gilead. If it doesn't explode it'll be safe for the canon. I'm going to follow up one more lead to get a ship.

It's great to see that the cylinder works and even better to see you safe too. That's all we need to build the cannon. We've also managed to… uhhh… find a ship we can use. But I don't think you'll like it.

Shadow Shroud Potion

Requirements: Must have Pirate Booty IV in your inventory.

We could storm on board and try to take the ship by force but it's always better to be a bit more prepared. I'd cast a darkness spell to shroud you in shadow so you can sneak on board without being noticed but I… nevermind. We'll make a potion instead. I have all the ingredients ready except darkness energy. Kill some of the undead pirates around here and you should be able to collect some.

When I said I had the potion ready I meant it. It really is as simple as adding the darkness energy to the potion. Just drink up and you'll be able to sneak on board without being noticed. I know you're probably wondering why I did not just cast a darkness spell into it. I'll try and explain later.

Plunder Their Supplies

Requirements: Must have Pirate Booty V in your inventory.

Normally we'd sneak explosives onto the enemy's ship and be done with it. However, this time we need to ship intact. We don't want a fire going starting or getting out of hand, or even an explosion going off when we storm the shift. Take the teleport runes and place them by any of their weapons, ammunition, explosives and other supplies.

+ When Completed

They have, well had, more supplies than I thought they would. With everything you stole they would have been able to hold out in that ship for days… maybe even weeks. It's a good thing they're ours now. We'll be able to make good use of these supplies.

Crew Crushing

Requirements: Must have Pirate Booty VI in your inventory.

It's time to begin the attack. At this point we just need to thin their numbers so that they can't overpower us. Lead the assault and cut their crew down to size. Defeating 15 Pirate Crew should take our the bulk of their force.

There were more of them than I thought, but don't worry, we've got the upper hand for now and can deal with the rest of them later.

Plunder Plans

Now that we have the upper hand it's time to focus on our plans. I have a rough idea of where Blazebeard will strike first but I'd like to have more specific knowledge. Find the Pirate Plunderers and see if you can get information from them, maps, plans, rumors, anything. At any rate we'll be clearing the ship of more pirates.

Perfect! Just what I thought. Blazebeard is heading towards the Embersea. They are still recovering and won't stand a chance against his mana cannon. We need to get there as soon as possible.

Keep On Battling

You've done a good job at battling these pirates and without much damage to the ship either. Now you need to defeat the remaining Pirate Crew and Pirate Plunderers so we can secure the ship and make it ours.

Hand Cannon Heist

From what I can tell and lot of these pirates will be carrying pistols of some sort. We don't want them taking pot shots at us before we can get to Blazebeard. Find and deal with 6 Pirate Gunners.

Interrogation

I need you to go after pirate plunderers again. When Blazebeard raided my ship years ago he took a lot of my supplies and research. If they all went up in flames with his ship then so be it. But if there is a chance they have been kept elsewhere I would like to know. Defeat 10 of the pirate plunderers to thin Blazebeard's raiding force and to get the information I need.

Thank goodness. If what they said is true, the vast amount of my research and supplies are still out there. Only the mana cannon was on board when we destroyed Blazebeard's ship. I'll have to retrieve them another time, but I'm glad to know it is still out there.

Conquer His Crew

It's amazing how many pirates Blazebeard has under his command. You'll need to thin out his crew here too. Once you do that we'll be able to start our final strikes against Blazebeard and his forces. Defeat 15 of Blazebeard's pirates of any type!

Now that they are out of the way all that is left are Blackbeard's most elite pirates. What I have seen so far disturbs me.

Pirates With Magic?

It seems that Blazebeard has been making more use of my magical research than I thought he had. It seems some of his best pirates have been dabbling in my magic. Pirates are deadly enough without magic at their side. Defeat these… Pirate Casters… and stop them misusing magic.

Their use of magic was crude, but at a level much higher than I would have expected. This is worrying. However, once we've defeated Blazebeard we shouldn't have any reason to worry.

Battle for Bullets

I met a pirate named Jack once. He was a very interesting pirate and said he'd be back soon. He told me that he was looking for some cursed aztec medallions and I promised him I'd keep a look out for them. Any of the enemies we've faced together could drop one.
