Once, K'thurr was surrounded by field of flowers called Horchids. They made the air smell so sweet, but the Trolls picked them all long ago. I've been trying to bring them back. Could you go around and plant these 7 Horchids bulps around the village and gather 5 Boar's Blood for fertilizer. Maybe together we can bring they back.

Tears of the Mountain

We know that Chaos has stolen the mountain's Tears. This is a sorrowful thing, yes. But we MUST know which Troll is responsible! It is possible the Chaorrupted One hides in their midst. Possible… but unlikely. Bring me 15 Monster Memories Zot will read them and see what the mountain allows her to see.

She says the mountain shows her nothing but shadows and rain. The mountain weeps for its stolen tears. We are uncertain, except to know that the Chaos Lord belongs to the Trolls. Their blood grants them access to the Temple, yes, and no Horc would steal from the mountain.

Defend the UnderMountain

Chaos has already defiled this sacred space. This saddens ALL Horcs! But we can keep it from being tainted more. Bring 5 Sharpened Bone Stakes and dig 10 traps throughout this area. Kagg will ensure that no minions of Chaos will survive entry here!

Chaorrupted creatures will suffer! They will shed the tears the mountain cannot cry! We will wee for their defilement, and in the crying, cleanse their spirits.

The Trolls have done this thing to us, and to the mountain. The Alliance cannot save them or protect us. This is truth. We must have weapons to defend ourselves and attack the Trolls. The monsters in the area have pieces which we can forge into new battlegear. Bring me 6 weapon resources and the Horcs will rise again!

Good and Evil are like the mountain, Hero. They are what they are. Solid, like the rock. But like rock, fissures can grow. They are riddled with prejudice and sense of right. Take them out before they force us to become like them!

Trapping Savage Soldiers

Requirements: Must have completed the previous quest.

We Horc do not normally use anything than direct battle, head on. But this one, I think we take the Troll-route. You set traps for the savage soldiers. Save us bloodshed so we may battle harder elsewhere.

You are smart Hero. If you are not such a good fighter, I tell you to go see Trolls. But, you are the best of both, I think.

Horcs have excellent sense of smell. Especially for chaorruption. It wafts through headquarters. I think you find some chaos-tainted object hidden here. Look closely, it will likely be important.

The Alliance soldiers are slowly being Chaorrupted. It makes me sad to say that ANY creature fall under taint. Slay them so they do not live as lesser beings, riddled with chaos.

You do them a favor, Hero, and all of us. But I think that the Chaorruption does not stop there. It smells like the leaders themselves have fallen to Chaos.

Cleanse the Chaorruption

Tales from long-ago K'Thurr SpiritMasters say that Horcs and Trolls were once brothers in arms. I think… it would be good to ally with them once more. Both tribes would be stronger. It saddens to see our sacred temples tainted with Chaorruption! Cleans the taint from these grounds by slaying 12 Chaorrupted creatures!

You have stopped it… for now, but we will need to keep watch! Once Chaorruption taints a horn, they fall quickly. It is a virus that kills without mercy.

Many tales say long-ago Horc Spiritmasters called forth great power here, and imbued holy oils with it. See if the urns left here contain any of that oil. It is possible some of the Chaorrupted beasts have taken them. Bring me 7 urns so we may see if power remains.

Mountain guard you, Hero! I think you have brought me enough to use. It is possible our Spiritmaster can cure the Chaorruption infecting the guardian spirits of Horcs and Trolls tied to the temple grounds!

I will anoint your weapon with this oil. defeat the crazed, Chaorrupted Guardian Spirits and the power of the oil will infuse them with strength and remove the taint. If Iron and Gold will it so, they will be cleansed! Apply the cure to 12 Chaorrupted Guardian Spirits!

Iron and Gold are with us! I can feel their spirits returning to the Mountain… and the Sky. Hero, we give you thanks again. I must see if the Spiritmaster can use this to save the Horcs… and Trolls… who have been tainted.

We know of the snake-women; they infest only this side of the Ravine. Stories say they bring death and disease to creatures of the Mountain. I think, though, we can use them. Their venom could shrivel the plants blocking the entrance to the temple center. Kill Serpentresses and bring me their poison!

Ancient tales tell of how the Serpentresses were once beautiful Troll maidens who grew bitter and spread lies, disrupting the community. The Singing Gods changed them into snake-women to punish them. Now they defile this temple! Remove 15 of them that we may show the Singing Gods that we uphold the fruits of their wisdom.

Wounds in Stones and Beasts

Hero, Horc and Troll scouts report the Chaos Lord captured the Alliance Leaders. We pity them; they are no locker than we at the hands of that… Troll abomination. But even more, we worry about the Arashtite Ore left in this cave! Journey through these wounds in the mountain, and find its heart leaders!

Ah, yes. The Heart of the Ore. It is from here that all of the Arashtite veins in Bloodtusk originated. It is place of great and fearful power.

You must find a way to see what is hiding in the dark. The veins of the mountain contain some light sources, illuminated plants should have enough to gather 5 Light Orbs, and the beasts living there crave the shine they give off. Take from them 10 more Orbs.

To uncover deception, you must shed light where it is not. Place 5 Light Orbs about the cavern to reveal what Krellenos would keep you from seeing.

You saw… THAT? Abused Generals I feel sympathy for, it is true. But what the exposed Ore implies… I cannot believe even a TROLL raised in the beauty of our land would abandon everything for the taint of Chaos!

Requirements: Must have completed the previous quest.

We may be seen as brutal, but Horcs know when to kill… and when to incapacitate. You go to battle loyal soldiers of the Alliance. They may have once attacked us, but they are not in control of their actions now. Save yourself, but try to save 14 of them, as well.

It is a good thing you have done, Hero. Perhaps one day a cure for Chaorruption will be found, and then these soldiers may be redeemed.
