The Second Task

As Twilight fell, the hairs on the back of my neck stood on Edge. All I could see was Chaos, woven webs, Warriors. And terror.

The Third Task

It was a swampy place in Arcangrove. The Mud stank, and I felt my Luk run out right before I sank into the muck. A frog-like creature passing by saved my life from a striped beast about to snack on me.

Only a true hero can meet Death, wander through his Realm, and live to tell the tale. It was a true test of my strength and skill, leaving that dark land.

I stared into a deep abyss, into the heart of darkness. I never knew The endless Void could be so intimidating. Or so… purple. And the creatures… do not get me started on the GIGANTIC EYELESS ALIEN BOSSES. O_O

Short of Reach

The Diabolicals prioritize cleansing this plane from these vile creatures. However, The eldritch entity I'm having trouble with has a particularly long reach. It leaves me quite outmatched. Think you could travel to the Cave of Transformation and exterminate it for me?

I should do my best to avoid these kinds of situations in the future. Perhaps a weapon with range would remedy that. A bow sounds quite fitting, doesn't it?

Since I'm in need of a bow I could use some spider webbing for the string to make sure it's nice and sturdy, and I know just the place to get it. The Blackhorn Tomb is plagued with a plethora of arachnids, but the Bonefeeder is the best source of string I'm looking for. Mind bringing me back some twine?

You know, I'm not fond of strings. It reminds me too much of a particular parasite. It's too wiggly and disgusting. Makes my skin crawl. I'd rather not go on a ramble, but let's just say there was a hair-thin creature that gave me more trouble than it needed to.

That shrine maiden was afflicted with an unfortunate ailment. She definitely needed a cure, but surely anyone who laid their eyes upon her twisted arm knew that what she sought didn't exist. It's quite saddening really.

I can't say I'm pleased with my choices, but with how things are playing out, I think some reflection would do me some good, mind coming with me? I'm thinking of paying the Ghost Nexus a visit, there's some emotional manifestations that might help me think clearly.

Ugh, more of these disgusting abominations. I hate them- really. It would be in best interest to cleanse this place of their presence while we look for what remains of Ira. Being near them gives me a headache as is.

This is quite troubling.. Ira consumed the heart of the monstrosity you hunted for him, and has taken upon a new form himself. His actions bring great shame on the council. Purging him is necessary, and you're the type that finishes what you've started.

Nothing remained of his humanity after his delusional quest for immortality. Sickening. If only karma would come for the rest of the nobility.

Do you have time to do one last round-up? We can't let the remaining Wyrms and Parasites propagate. I also learned, just now actually, that mimics reproduce by laying eggs that look like coins. Explorers would unknowingly take them, and spread them around. Those have to go too.
