An imprint if you will of when he was at his darkest and angriest. Confront it and bring back what I need.

Skeletons don't have an easy un-life. The constant battle against dry, brittle bones and splintered phalanges takes its toll on undead morale. And I hate to see them suffer… especially since I'm not the one causing the misery! With this being said, I need you to find the Youthanize Serum. This stuff is incredibly rare, but the Green Slimes of Lore are rumored to produce such a salve… on occasion. Return to me when you have 1 Youthanize Serum in your possession.

I'll climb the ladder on the right. It'll be faster if I give you a piggyback. Don't protest, and count the seconds it takes for me to get to the first platform. I want to see if my father can beat my time. If you feel bad about me carrying you, then catch some butterflies. I saw you do the same for Safiria. They're just bugs but you caught them for her. It's not that I want them too. It's only fair for the contest.
You're light as a feather. I hardly noticed you were latched on to my back. Hmph, to think that leech made you climb on your own. Doesn't Safiria know what this contest is about? Oh, looks like you caught a lot of those bugs too. These butterfly wings are soft. I mean that in a bad way. The wings have the same texture as human skin. Do you see patterns on them? They resemble facial features.

Hold that thought about the butterflies. The Queen's minions have come to sabotage me. Did she actually think a cloud of vermin and a couple of fashion disasters could get between you and I? Don't bother raising your weapon. I'll deal with them while you go pick some flowers. That should be a proper Hero's Heart Day activity.
That didn't feel right. Slicing through the bats felt like I was shredding cotton dolls. Those vampire minions too. Cutting them down had the same sensation as slicing wax. They don't look quite right either. Then again, I haven't fought many vampires myself. It could be that the Queen and her followers were always this fake. That aside, hand me the flowers you picked.

We'll be climbing the left ladder from here. Of course, more vampire minions to make my headache worse. You want to fight them for yourself to find out why they're so strange? Alright, if that's what you want. Then I'll work on a gift for you. Don't get too excited. I've never made something like this before so it'll take time. Read that book over there if I don't finish quick enough. I wonder if it's a guidebook or map.
That's an odd smile you're wearing. Was there something funny in that book? Well, prepare to frown. I made a flower crown from the lilies you picked. Their stems aren't great for weaving but don't complain that I didn't make an effort for this tourney at all. Alright, I regret it even more now that it's on your head. Heh, you look goofy.

Up the next ladder. What is this? Where did the sky and tower go? How did we suddenly get transported into someone's house? Not that I've ever personally spent that long a time inside of one. I was raised in my father's fortress so this sort of place is unfamiliar to me. Plain furniture, toys, family portraits…I'm getting dizzier, and the swarming butterflies aren't helping. We need to get rid of them and look closer at this strange home.
Every so often, I have daydreams about what it'd be like if I grew up in a house like this with my father and mother. It'd end with me growing my ambition and leaving to become the conqueror I was meant to be. It's just that the beginning of my story would be happier. That could never happen. It would mean my father would have taken a different path in life, and I wouldn't exist. Enough of that. We should go.

A pair of Wraiths are guarding the entrance to Camlan. They're wearing the same Clerical robes the other ghosts in Battleon did. Force them into the afterlife so we can pass through the city gates.
Take a look at this, Hero. During the fight, you kicked up dirt, and uncovered a set of shallow graves. They seem to have belonged to two Clerics, and they both have the words 'Retainer of the Champion of Light' embroidered on their sleeves. I checked around, and there aren't the only ones, either…

Dryden and Sigrid ran off before I could get them to wait for you. Without Dryden, we'd waste time getting lost in the streets of Camlan. Find him, and any other Elf that's still sane. See if they know what the Shadows are after.

We need Dryden to pull himself together. The creatures that used to be his people are surrounding us, and worsening his mental state. Cut these Doomed Elves down and show no mercy. They're sound of mind, but beyond the point of return.
You saw it, too? Their bodies just… melted, into black puddles. It seems like they're all flowing towards the center of Camlan. On the bright side, Dryden's snapped out of his stupor. He's ready to lead us inside to confront what his people have done.

The Lightguard made it to Carcano's hideout first, and they have orders to smite anyone else in the area- including Ana. Clear them out, and don't bother going easy on them. These fools need to learn where they stand without the Alliance to lean on.
They have spirit, but swing like children playing with sticks. Have they even handled a weapon before? Hmm, they're holding talismans engraved with complicated Light spells that'll explode if used. Are the higher ranks using them as canon fodder and meat shields?

Ana's fellow Paladin Ascendants are inside the ruins of her childhood home, looking to apprehend her and the Nation traitor. We need Ana to lead us to Carcano, so keep her compatriots from dragging her back.
When the gold bits of their armor chip off, the pieces get melty. It has the same consistency as tree sap. I can feel warmth from holding one in my palm. When I drop it, my hand feels much colder than before. It's familiar, though I can't recall exactly where I've seen this before.

The Paladins have been forced to fall back and regroup- which just leaves Nulgath's forces to deal with. Confront the Nation casters, and see if you can have a word with their leader. I saw Loremaster Jadzia in the west wing of the building… perhaps she can help. I certainly hope that spending time in Termina Temple taught her a valuable lesson about friendship- or at least one about not selling out your allies.
The Casters are here to secure and stabilize the dying star after they capture Carcano? Interesting. Jadzia had a strong reaction to Ana being present because Carnage was tasked to hunt down the traitor. When Ana said she had personal ties…

Outriders are Fiends that left the Nation. Fighting on behalf of Lord Nulgath again may mean that he's extending forgiveness to those who have failed him in the past if they help capture Carcano. Confront these Outriders and see if my hunch is right. They should be in the east wing.
The Outriders are wearing the skulls of other Fiends on their belts. Those belonged to other traitors, and now they're hunting for Carcano's. Lord Nulgath must want the dying star back badly if he's willing to entertain oathbreakers.

The Ascendants have regrouped, and are mounting another attempt to retrieve the "Dying Star." I don't care if they keep throwing warm bodies at the problem, but I'd rather not be tripping over their corpses while we're in a rush. Repel them. They're in over their heads.
Ana's skilled, but she's the trusting sort. Otherwise, she wouldn't have approached me. I'm sure someone in the Lightguard knew Ana's background. Maybe the Paladins were so confident because they expected her to kowtow to every order.

Jadzia called off her Casters, but the Outriders answer to Carnage. They're not willing to let us through. In fact, they're willing to look me in the face and tell me to turn around. That's gutsy. You don't need to be gentle about getting them out of the way.
I heard that Nation Outriders were traitors that struck out on their own, but here they are - back in the graces of Lord Nulgath. That's even stranger than the spatial tears. Forgiving broken contracts and betrayals, huh? It's almost like he wanted us to see them.

Carcano took the Fiend Shard below ground, and its influence is ripping space. We're about to be swimming in the Shard's radiation, and I'll feel more at ease diving in if we test how smaller tears will affect us first. Keep the Paladins from tampering with them too.
We'll be fine as long as we deal with Carcano quickly. I feel the Shard's influence seeping into my skin. Long term exposure will have an effect, but not on Ana. Her resistance is higher than most. Hmm, this could be a sign that she has an affinity for the Nation's Void.

The Shard is beneath the room where we fought Carnage. It already transformed the cellar into what's basically a whole other dimension. Before we go, I need a word with Jadzia. While we talk, take that notebook from Ana's old bedroom. Don't let her see you.
Carnage duped Lord Nulgath, but the Archfiend knew and mentored him anyway. The torn pages of Carnage's Notebook are about him hating Ana, but the Nation Fiends that know him try to keep his sister out of harm's way. There are contradictions everywhere.

Carnage must have told the Outriders the same thing Jadzia heard - To keep Ana from getting close to him, the Shard, and Lord Nulgath. As for where the Archfiend is…something has to be keeping him from involving himself directly. Go, talk to Ana and we'll resolve this.
