General of the Cocytus
It's an honor to wear Lord Dage's armor, but it's difficult to move in. General Slaine and Yara dragged Zedek out onto the roof. I'd join them, but I'm a bit tied up. Not that 'you' would need any help. These paltry chains were the best trick Zedek had up his sleeve.
Trap
The Kingdom of Atlas was built to trap and destroy Evil, and they had lifetimes to perfect it. I was expecting more than a snare, but I suspect this played out exactly as 'you' predicted. It wasn't really about making Zedek show his hand. 'You' let him soar into the sky, and clipped his wings right as he touched the sun. This is humiliation. An example of what will happen to anyone that offends you.
Zedek
King Zedek has a grudge that runs deep, but I meant what I said when I confronted him. I don't recall this man at all. I've heard of him, but he never fought the Legion directly before. Unless…his first actual meeting with Dage was so unnoteworthy that none of us remember him. For all of his pride, only his sins caught our attention. Not any of his good deeds, if there were any to begin with.
Connection
The soul of every Legionnaire is tethered to their Lord's, which means they're connected to 'you.' In this one moment, we are not the Undead Legion. We are a force of nature. The balancing of the scale. What would happen if it was the Nation marching on Atlas instead? Would the laws of reality change if you joined hands with Chaos? The possibilities could very well be endless, and 'you' would know.
After completing the 'Dante to Beatrice' quest:
General of the Cocytus
Soon, the Kingdom of Atlas will be sent to the depths of the sea. Its people's knowledge and achievements will sink with it. I have no doubt that even in those dark waters, it will be a beacon to the curious and ambitious. Fitting, really. It'll swallow anyone meaning to follow in Zedek's footsteps. You gave that 'thing' down there quite the prize. The newborn god and its growing cults owe you a favor.
