The creatures spawned by the Timestream follow no master and those corrupted by the Shadowflame are rampaging out of Malgor's control. Somewhere in this sea of monsters, Malgor is attempting to escape into the past. We won't be able to find and stop him unless we deal with the obstacles. Defeat as many of them as you can. I'll be right next to you, my friend.
Even though it's hard to tell what's happening in the chaos, I've noticed something. The monsters corrupted by Shadowflame viciously tear at the Mumblers even when they've stopped moving. On their end, the Mumblers have no aim but to desperately cling to their victims. If it weren't for their touch causing harm, I wouldn't consider them a threat. We have to destroy them but it's difficult to listen to the Mumblers weep.

The lives of the Champions are dwindling with every passing second. In any other war, I would ask that you remember to rest. There's no time for it here. We must push ourselves to our very limits to eliminate the monsters infesting the Timestream. We're worried that if left alone, the mayhem from the clashing creatures will unravel the fabric of time itself.
I understand that we are in dire straits and have little room to find a moment of peace…It's just that I haven't seen you this hostile with monsters before. There hasn't been a single smarty snark from you, is there something wrong?

You can't tell that the creatures spawned from the Timestream have your voice. Or, they do in a manner of speaking. I've never heard you sound this upset before. No one understands the noises they're making either. It's just a jumble of noise. Still, for anyone that has stood shoulder to shoulder with you…fighting them is demoralizing. It could settle their minds if we grab some Mumblers and found out more about them.
I'm no expert in magic, so the mages Queen Victoria sent to help us spelled it out in layman's terms. They compared the Timestream to a body, though they're unsure if the Avatars have a similar relationship to the Planes. The creatures spawned from the Timestream are actually being expelled from ‘its body.' They're unwanted parts of itself that it's trying to get rid of. I don't know how this links to their voices sounding like yours.

The monsters corrupted by Shadowflame are being affected by the Mana Affliction, supposedly because Malgor lost control of the Mana Core. They're in the late stages, which means they can explode at any moment. That's not doing our morale any favors. Our allies are worried for their loved ones in the early stages of Mana Affliction. We should learn more about the Shadowflame monsters' conditions.
There is a purpose behind this. That is the conclusion the magical experts among our allies have come to. Something is controlling how fast we go through the stages of Mana Affliction. Anything corrupted by Shadowflame is speeding through the stages and popping. As for our friends, they're going through the stages much slower. I'm choosing to take this as a good sign.

We're beginning to see the Mumblers transform. They're growing wings, draconian features, and their speech is becoming intelligible. Our discomfort with their voices aside, these False Wyverns are sturdier and more hostile. They lash out blindly, and pose a serious threat if left alone. It hurts my pride but I will dearly need your help putting these Wyverns down. This isn't anything like hunting dragons.
We need to be wary. There's nothing to suggest that this is the final stage of the Mumblers' growth. With how vast this Timestream is, a bigger threat is likely on the horizon. I'm used to listening for the roars of dragons in the distance. In fact, I can hear one now…it's just that I still can't handle its voice. I believe that this is a trick of some sort, because I believe you. Just, don't expect me to fight that one on my own.

The monsters have been scattered, leaving a lone beast to approach. It's one of the Mumblers that have grown past the False Wyvern stage.
