This thread is to teach players how to calculate Base Damages. For now, the Weapon Damage Chart page will be restricted to mod/admin access only.
If you any questions, concerns or suggestions, feel free to post here or PM a wiki mod/admin from this list.
Important Tips
Want to help us to find base damages? Here's what you need to know:
- You must use a class that gives 100% weapon damage at 2.0 Speed.
- Base Damage is the damage range of a weapon that is at level 1 with 15 DPS. (i.e. 27-33).
- Be careful when calculating a damage range for a weapon that isn't level 1.
- Be careful with some classes, just because a class has 2.0 Speed does not mean that the class has 100% weapon damage. Some classes (i.e Troll SpellSmith) have different weapon damage percentages and speeds (i.e. 90%, 2.0 Speed).
- Damage Range tags:
- DefaultDmg: This weapon has default damage (27-33)
- Fixed-Dmg: This weapon has fixed damage (i.e. 30-30)
- OtherDmg: This weapon has a miscellaneous damage range (21-39 to 24-36, 28-32, and 29-31, excluding 30-30 and 27-33)
- MediumDmg: This weapon has a medium damage range (11-49 to 20-40)
- HighDmg: This weapon has a high damage range (-15-75 to 10-50) (Do note that if a number is negative, such as -2-62, your attack on the monster you're battling may have a chance to heal for a small amount)
- This is how you apply tags on discovered damages:
HighDmg | MediumDmg | OtherDmg | DefaultDmg | OtherDmg | Fixed-Dmg | |||||||||||||||||||||||
---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
Damages | -15-75 | -2-62 | 0-60 | 1-59 | 3-57 | 4-56 | 6-54 | 9-51 | 10-50 | 11-49 | 12-48 | 14-46 | 15-45 | 16-44 | 17-43 | 18-42 | 19-41 | 20-40 | 21-39 | 22-38 | 23-37 | 24-36 | 25-35 | 26-34 | 27-33 | 28-32 | 29-31 | 30-30 |
The Steps
The following methods will help you to calculate the base damage range. Please make sure to read them carefully.
Please note the following:
- All methods can be used by both Legends and Freeplayers making them the best methods to use
- A class that has 100% weapon must be used in order to check properly. Warrior or Healer are recommended as it is easy to obtain.
The weapon is Level 1 and in a shop
- Equip your 100% weapon damage class
- Go to the shop the weapon is in and click on the item in the shop. In the item's Preview window, you'll see the Base Damage in the Enhancement box (anywhere from -15-75 to 30-30) Here is an example.
Any weapon with any enhancement
- Type /join portalundead in your chat bar to go to the portalundead map
- Speak with Cleric Dawn, then click "Prepare Yourself", then "Enhancements"
- Scroll all the way down to the bottom of the shop and click on the Level 1 Adventurer's Weapon Enhancement
- Click "Apply Now", select the weapon in your inventory that you want to check the base damage of, then click "Enhance!". (This will enhance your weapon with the Level 1 Adventurer's Weapon Enhancement, which is important)
- Close the shop, go into your inventory and equip your 100% weapon damage class, then click on the weapon you just enhanced. In the item's Preview window, you'll see the Base Damage in the Enhancement box (anywhere from -15-75 to 30-30). Here is an example of the end result using Ungodly Reavers of Nulgath.
