For example, there's no point in showing a full character screenshot and name for a helm.
General
- screenshots from high graphical settings, ideally at normal size
- saved as .png - .gif can work, but you'd have to check and see if there's a loss of color
- Simpler backgrounds (e.g. grass area of portal zone) are better.
- No character names. It's just wasted space… unless if there's no way to print without it.
- proper cropping (old AQ examples XD): uncropped, poorly cropped, cropped, ideal
- You can use the magnifying glass in the lower right to preview house items if you do not have a way to get in game pic for 'em.
Armor/Class Armor
- Unequip pets, helms, and capes
- Use a smaller weapon to show as much of the armor as possible - Unarmed is most ideal but not needed.
- It may be nice to include an image of the armor set, but the armor itself should be first.
- Focuses the Armor.
Capes/Back Items
- Unequip large helmets/armors that may cover a lot of the cape and focuses the cape.
Helmets & Hoods
- Avoid taking a screenshot with a armor that shows up to the sides or otherwise edits facial expressions (i.e. scars, eyes, mouth, etc.) just so that focus is placed on the helm and focuses the helm.
Locations
- The focus should be the screens in an area, so no chatbox (hide it), no other people in the room (if possible), and just try to keep the screen in it's 'natural state' without any interferences (except yourself) and zoom. If there are monsters, leave them in.
Monsters, NPCs, and Pets
- Try to get the entire monster/NPC/pet. You can also get the pet to follow you to take a screenshot of it alone, though that's not needed either. Focuses the Pet.
Weapons
- Try not to have too many other things around, so that people get a good look at it. Focus on the weapon itself.
Hints: "Ctrl +" on your keyboard to apply zoom in or "Ctrl -" to apply zoom out.
Need-Image Tag Guidelines
Original:
WorldMage
The need-image tag goes to every page that its image has lack of quality, small image or an image that needs to be re-sized or simply, the page has no image. We don't need to be spammed for images that are simply, just fine.Original:
Tendou no Mazo
Need-Image: This tag is to recognize preview pictures with letters on pictures, badly pictures, too small and too big pictures, broked links or if the item isn't seasonal.
