We was going to make him walk the plank for attempted mutiny, but now he's yer test of mettle! If ye can beat him, then ye'll have earned the right teh… well, teh not be killed just yet.

Look, by the shore. What used to be members of the Full Moon's crew are prowling the sands. They don't be themselves no more, an' heel to a new Captain. Cut those wolves loose so we can find the one holdin' their leashes.

The bloodied pack was howling at an invisible moon. Nothin' be in the sky, but look 'ere, the moon's reflection's still in the water. It be an evil omen we're goin' to take a dip in.

Apex Prey

Are ye a fast swimmer? Harharhar, it be sink or swim fer a pirate, and the beasts below haven't stopped sinking. Drowned Werewolves are haunting the shallows. Send 'em to the other side so we can get further.

None of these wolves were from the same pack, or be from any that haven't gone extinct. I be thinkin' whatever lured them into the water drowned them long before I was turned. There always be bigger fish in the sea…

See that clam at the bottom o' the trench? That's where the glow's comin' from. It's beggin' for us to snoop, but make sure you defang the Lampreys crawling all over it. Looks like they've been turned into Vampires five times over.

Arr, there not be a gem or coin hidin' in this empty chest - but did ye notice? It's a queen-sized Mermaid bed. I know me Mermaids. They make good seasickness remedies if you boil 'em. It only works fer Vampires an' Werewolves, though.

Arrr! No time to linger! Drowned Vampires noticed us poking around that clam shell. They may look similar, but they ain't from the Crimson Veil's crew. Cut them down, and let the sea claim their fangs.

Those Vampires reacted like we were disturbin' their coven master's coffin. I bet on the hull of me ship that the thing going OooOOooOOooOOoOOoo was spectatin' the war from inside that shell! Where did it go…

Aye Eye

Now we know our quarry was hidin' underwater the whole time. It slithered away, but it left a trail o' red. You an' I are goin' to take a closer look, but keep yer weapon ready. The crazed Blood Veil Pirates be gettin' thirsty. Teach 'em not to mess with you.

Aye, look at these eyes. Mortal pirates sometimes wear a patch over a perfectly good eye to help them adjust to the darkness below deck faster. Harharhar, that don't be a problem for us. We live in the night, an' our patches hide war scars.

Keep following that red trail! We be gettin' close. Now Kurok Gravefang's Horde be stepping out of the shadows! They look waterlogged and drained… like somethin' fed on 'em. Clip their wings so I can get a better look.

A Vampire's bite be two puncture wounds to the neck. What we have here be a circle o' punctures that look like they came from those lampreys we dealt with earlier. Arr, I forgot that I could still wretch. Who'd just let themselves get bit by those wormballs?

Gravefang never intended to give the winner of this war a prize! His Horde was lyin' in wait to feast on them while they were winded from battle, and the Vampiric Lampreys be helpin' them. What a fine mess. Clean them up and toss'em to the sharks!

Doubt I'll get used to seein' Undead bloated in the water. The sea's merciless, and won't even show yer corpse mercy. Other critters start livin' an' eatin' off of ye, urk…ehem. Ye need to 'ave a strong stomach like me to survive the waters, harharhar!

That Werepyre wasn't fightin' at full force. He let something 'ave a sip o' 'is blood slurry. Whatever we go up against next won't be a pushover. They're powered by the blood from centuries o' Vampire and Werewolf feuds.
