This pet, changed to "Ceremonial Void Knight Sword". And then back to normal.
 
Which is my question, is it an animation of the pet? Or is this a bug?

  • Necromancer's Command Undead hits a "0" when the pet is equipped
  • Darkside's Blinding Pain pops up the message "No battle pet equipped" when attempting to use the skill with the pet equipped
  • The description in the inventory literally says "Pet", not "Battle Pet".

Animations are not the only thing that makes a pet a battle pet. There are several other factors such as the ones I mentioned above.

Drudgen the Assistant is NOT a Battle Pet, along with any other pets that meet the findings that I listed above.

Tendou no MazoTendou no Mazo : With darkside class you can prove if a pet is a battle pet or not, just spam third skill if the pet isn't a battle pet "No battle pet equipped" message will appear, otherwise, the skill will work.

HancokHancok : Every single battle pet has three distinct animations: the animation for when it is Summoned/when the Summon skill is used in battle, and then the two battle animations themselves.
