Bear Necessities of LifeRoot

Brave hero… the Cloister needs your aid. Once a safe haven to ancient Druids, our Mother Tree is now overrun with dangerous beasts. We need to restore the balance. But before I send you on more perilous tasks, I ask that you become aware of The Cloister’s intricate layout. Make your way through our Mother Tree until you find the sacred LifeRoot near the canopy. I await your return.

The LifeRoot was much more abundant before… I wonder if it will ever thrive again as it once did…

Acorny Quest

Requirements: Must have completed the previous quest.

I see that you are well suited to help restore the balance of The Cloister. Along your travels, you encountered Acornents, correct? These devious little acorns absorb too much of the Mother Tree’s magic and know not what to do with it. They have resorted to violence. We must stop them before they take the very life from The Cloister. Collect 10 Acornent Shells to assure The Cloister’s survival.

Great work, hero. The Cloister thanks you for your valiant deeds. But there is still so much more to do.

Ravenloss

Requirements: Must have completed the previous quest.

Much like the Acornents, the ravens of The Cloister have found a way to consume her magical energies, transforming them into horrid beasts. The Karasu, as they are now called, relentlessly feast on The Cloister’s magical fruits and have left her boughs barren. Please, go forth and collect 8 Bundles of Cloister Fruit from the Karasu so that balance can be restored.

The Cloister has given us these fruits, and now we can give it back to her with hopes of restoring the balance. Thank you, hero.

It's A Bough-t Time

Requirements: Must have completed the previous quest.

Defeating the Karasu and Acornents have helped restore the balance… but now we must aid the tree herself. There are 3 supporting boughs throughout The Cloister that require a boost of magical energies. They stand out from the other branches in more ways than one.

Reens the Alchemist has a Mana Potion in her shop that we can offer The Cloister. Once you have the Mana Potion, travel back through our Mother Tree and find the 3 supporting boughs that I speak of. Touch these boughs to apply the Mana Potion to, and return to me when all boughs have been revived.

+ When Completed

Hero! Can you feel that…? I feel The Cloister growing stronger! The balance is starting to return to the Mother Tree!

  • Click on the Boughs on Screens 3, 5 and 8 after obtaining Mana Potion (1)

Wendigo Whereabouts

Requirements: Must have completed the previous quest.

The Mother Tree has one more request from you. A horrible creature feared by all magi resides on The Cloister's canopy. It is a monster dubbed Wendigo. Once a druid himself, the Wendigo's constant craving of magical energies has exiled him to the Cloister's topmost branches. No one has been powerful enough to defeat him… but I have faith in you, Hero. Take down Wendigo, and The Cloister will flourish once more!

Items Required:

• Defeated Wendigo x1
  • Dropped by Wendigo (Monster) (1)

Rewards:

• 8,500 Gold
• 34,000 Exp
• 2,000 Rep : Arcangrove

Scales and Tails

All druids respect life. We understand the delicate balance between nature and uphold Her will. But we also know that there are times when sacrifice is necessary for the greater good. And The Cloister needs nourishment. The oils from Swamp Frogdrakes and Swamp Lurkers will help nourish our Mother Tree back to health. Go forth into the Mudluk swamp and bring back 10 Frogdrake Tails and 10 Lurker Scales so that we can begin restoring Her.

Excellent work! The oils from these ingredients will be of much use to The Cloister. Please, come back tomorrow so that you can gather more. Our Mother Tree thanks you.
