Key to the Tower

If you are going to save the Princess, you've GOT to get into the Tower. It's locked, and I'm pretty sure one of these zards creatures stole the key. Defeat the Zards Undead Warriors until you recover the Tower Key.

You did it! Hurry to the Tower and Talk to Galanoth, the Head DragonSlayer. He will tell you more about the Dragon.

Time for a Dose

Ok! We'll start by going out and dosing some of the "reshapen" creatures in the area with our original formula, and then tagging them so we can keep track of its effects as we work on it. I'm sure this won't be easy, so it may take you a few tries before you successfully dose and tag them. You'll find the Spiderwings flying around in the forest, and the Urstrix in the nearby cave.

Comparing Samples

Requirements: Must have completed the previous quest.

Hmm, doesn't look like it's having much of an effect. Let's collect some samples from the creatures Kolyaban has changed, and then some more from their unaltered counterparts. You can find uncorrupted HootBears in /brightoak, and Leatherwings in /guru or /pines. Comparing them might help us figure out the direction we need to go in.

It might not be a bad idea to get some samples from the reshapen plants, too. Roots, fungus… whatever you can find. It will all give me valuable data.

Investigate the Goo

Requirements: Must have completed the previous quest.

Interesting. I'd also like to get hold of some of the toxic goo from these wandering extrikiti things. If I can see how the non-infected samples respond to pure Rift-matter, I may be able to better understand how to approach this. Don't worry - the toxicity of these lil guys is much weaker, so as long as you wear gloves, you should be fine!

Second Dose

Ok, take this adjusted serum and dose the creatures you previously tagged. You'll need to make sure you dose the same ones, so you may end up fighting a few extras before you find them.

Still Not Working

Hmm. Well, that did solve part of the puzzle, but there's something else we're still missing. Let's take a look at some of the monsters that actually came from the rift. Go back to /therift and capture 3 Ravenous Parasites and 3 Plague Spreaders.

Get the Final Ingredients

Requirements: Must have completed the previous quest.

Interesting - the biology of these reshapen creatures is similar to that of the Rift creatures, but it's not identical. What we need is a way to kill off the Rift parts while healing the body's natural form. I think I have an idea.

Bring me a standard Health Potion - you can buy one from Reens in /northpointe - along with some Uncorrupted Spitter Seeds from the Seed Spitters in /arcangrove, and some Treeant Berries from the Treeants in /poisonforest. With them, I will create a potion that will heal Aria’s human body, while the rest of the cure kills off the near-Monster parts.
