Perfectly Real Doctor With Real Credentials
Calm yourself. My patience has yet to reach its limit. I will return this one favor by prolonging my investigation on this floor. I'm far more interested in the Weapons Division. You witnessed what happened when the Swordhaven Queen shot me with her spectral arrow. How she developed such a weapon remains a mystery. Ironic as it sounds, I do not prefer being left in the dark by my enemies, or you.
Security
System Sparagmos protects Sea Base Undine from Kathool's influence. But how does it achieve this? What causes its working capacity to fluctuate? Noelle says the way it calls for help through the screens is a collective hallucination. One that can alter my mind? Laughable. Wipe that incredulous look off of your face. There is more to this than can be explained away by illusions.
Structure
I doubt Swordhaven had the resources to build this Sea Base. Not when they had to repair their own city thrice over. The metal plating is a recent addition. You've seen exposed stone all over the base. They're ancient materials, unable to be mined unless one can survive digging in the depths of the sea. Swordhaven could not afford it, which means someone else foot the bill, or the stone was already there.
Ganx
What a surprise. Dr. Ganx is nowhere to be found. Perhaps she found the remedies the Chaos Champion needed and took her leave. But you're never so lucky. Had she retrieved what she needed, I'm of the mind that the bottomfeeder would have destroyed the rest of the base. With it being so quiet, it's logical to assume that she delved deeper. Oh? You think there's a chance something sinister happened to her?
After completing the 'Singing to Whales' quest:
Perfectly Real Doctor With Real Credentials
Tonight, we make for the Midnight Zone, which houses the Defense Division Labs and Sparagmos. I will be searching for the spectral arrows, as well as satisfying my curiosity for their security system. While I was perusing this office's documents, I discovered interesting implications. Most of them were planted papers but as for the monitor on the desk…Hn, if you're keeping secrets, so will I.
