Exiled Champion of Earth
Let's get to know each other after you investigate /lowtide. I'm looking forward to it.

- Go Now

After completing the 'Honeyed Apologies' quest:

Exiled Champion of Earth
You arrived in Alutea looking for treasure but found a monster instead. Lady Neso cursed my name and Lord Tremblor rightfully exiled me. This city is a mass grave because of me. Innocent people don't deserve to be stuck down here. I'll find a way to free you all, and tell the story of the Alutians and Rheum. Atrocities should be remembered, so that they may never be allowed to happen again.

Past
I tended sheep until the Plane of Earth chose me as its Champion when I was fifteen. Ehe, that explained how I'd keep digging up gems in our veggie garden. Lord Tremblor scared me and the lambs so badly when the ground opened and his voice called out to ask me for help. I traded my walking stick for a blade, stumbled a lot while I trained, and slew monsters threatening the stability of Lore. Those were such bright days.

Conflict
Long ago, when the Avatars were carving out the seas and continents, the Alutians lived in this underwater city. They adored Lady Neso, and spread the seas over the grasslands in her name. Lord Tremblor was enraged over the lost lands and drowned lives but did not wish to involve Lady Neso since the Alutians acted on their own. Rheum repelled them, winning back the coast but Lord Tremblor's fury continued to quake.

Nursery
Lord Tremblor was not satisfied that we merely chased the Alutians away. he wanted us to make sure that they would never invade again. To that end, the warriors of Rheum surged inside the city during an earthquake that drained its water. This nursery was their main target. Every single egg was smashed, robbing the Alutians of their future. The Alutians here weren't soldiers, they had nothing to do with Lord Tremblor's wrath.

- Beryl's Quests

After completing the 'Cast Away Buds' quest:

Exiled Champion of Earth
If you are to take me with you, the way out of Alutea will be much harder. A blessing and a curse keeps me trapped here. The blessing is more dangerous. A single egg escaped the massacre and Lady Neso's gaze fell upon the hatchling. She gave the child a new body, one with sharp claws and teeth. That way, they would live on as the last Alutian, and have the power to prevent my escape.

- Beryl's Quests

After completing the 'Abyss to Sun' quest:

Exiled Champion of Earth
This is the first time I've seen sunlight in ages, but for the Last Alutian, this is their first time ever. Lady Neso blessed their body with power that would allow them to live on for their lost kin. But they are consumed by their grudge for me, binding them to the ruins of Alutea for as long as I was. They'll try to take me back with them but we need to convince them to move on. Please don't kill them!
