Lion Hunting

Scout Onslaught Tower and see if you can find Archlord Lionfang. I don't imagine this will be that simple but the fates have been with us so far. Search every room and return to me for further instruction.

+ When Completed

As expected. I imagine he is in the dungeon beyond those gates along with his captives. We must turn our attention to neutralizing the Death Fog that surrounds the tower.

Secret Of The Death Fog

Requirements: Must have completed the previous quest.

The Golden Onslaught soldiers are not affected by the Death Fog. We have to find out how they are blocking the effect. Search 8 of the soldiers and keep your eyes open for anything unusual.

Facial hair, probably not. Blue eyes, possible… wait Amulets? They were all wearing amulets? Why didn't you say so?

The Key To Survival

Requirements: Must have completed the previous quest.

Every living Golden Onslaught Soldier in here is carrying, somewhere on their person, a Death Fog Protection Amulet. Do what you must to recover at least 4 Amulets.

+ When Completed

Good. Good. These are perfect. I believe I will be able to alter the magical field around these to neutralize the Death fog but we will need some alchemical reagents.

The Tools

Requirements: Must have completed the previous quest.

Archlord Lionfang's field alchemy skills are well known by the Shadowscythe Army. This Death Fog is an interesting creation but we can neutralize the effects with the amulets. I will need several alchemical reagents to chance how they function. Search the tower and bring me 8 alchemical reagents.

Excellent, We have almost everything that we need.

The Talent

Requirements: Must have completed the previous quest.

The amulets are almost ready to neutralize the effect of the Death Fog for anyone in range, but their power needs to be amplified. Take these to Empress Gravelyn and ask her cast a darkness enchant on them, then bring them back to me.

+ When Completed

Excellent. Now pay attention the placement must be precise.

Items Required:

• Get Enchanted x1
  • Talk to Gravelyn (NPC) and click the 'Enchant the Amulets' button

The Local Locale

Requirements: Must have completed the previous quest.

The amulets are fully powered but for them to protect everyone in the area, you will need to place them in four key locations through the tower. I have drawn you a map. Make sure that you have placed all 4 amulets exactly where they need to be and return here.

Perfect, they have already begun to neutralize the Death Fog.

Who Holds The Key?

Requirements: Must have completed the previous quest.

Now that the Death Fog has been neutralized, it is safe for us to free the captives. The key to the dungeon must be around Onslaught Tower somewhere. Search 6 of the soldiers and return if you find anything.

Bah… I should have known that Archlord Lionfang would instruct his soldier to hide the key when the tower's defenses were breached.

Leave No Rug Unturned

Requirements: Must have completed the previous quest.

The key to the dungeon must have been hidden somewhere in the tower by the soldiers. Search every room until you find where the dungeon key is hidden and bring is back here as soon as you can!

Now that you have the key all that remains is freeing the heroes of Battleon and King Alteon. In the name of the Great Truce, in the name of Empress Gravelyn… Archlord Lionfang of the Golden Onslaught must fall!

How Much Sharper Than Lion's Tooth?

In our conquest of the tower we have claimed the Archlord's personal armor cache. Bring me one of the teeth from the great lion that he rides and I might be persuaded to reward you with one of his special armor pieces.

In searching the tower, the Shadowscythe troops have uncovered a trunk of Lionfang's personal dress armor and weapons for formal occasions. Many of the troops would like to claim these items as the spoils of war. Bring me one of his lion's claws and I might decide to give them to you.
