Alchemy?
Have you found some alchemy reagents? Lim and I have created the Magidomifier. Using a magical runestone, placed in the center of the device we can extract magical properties from reagents to make powerful potions, tonics and elixirs. I have plenty of standard runestones but if you want the best results you can buy Dragon Runestones at the Magidomifier.Reagents?
You can find reagents, or ingredients, all over lore. They are generally found on monsters. Some reagents are synthetic, meaning they must be made by combining other ingredients. I also have some in stock that I don't mind trading for. Also be sure to check Lim's Alchemicia Pharmacopeia for some basic reagent properties and hints on where to find them. Components are used as reagents in crafting trade skills. Components generally result from mixing with lower level runestones. There is a rumor that the most powerful reagent cannot be found but must be crafted with the Magidomifier.Rumor?

Potions have short durations and are best used while in combat. You can mix potions to restore Health or Mana. Some difficult to mix potions can even directly effect how much damage you can take or dish out.Tonics
Tonics have a long duration and are best used BEFORE you engage in combat. Tonics are very powerful because they increase your core stats like Strength, Intellect or Dexterity. Keep in mind, only one tonic can effect you at a time. Using one after another will replace the effect.Elixirs
Elixirs have a long duration like tonics and are also best used BEFORE you engage in combat. Elixirs have a large array of effects from directly increasing how much you heal for to how powerful a critical hit can be. Similar to tonics, you can only have one elixir in effect at a time.
What is your story?
I might not like it, but I can understand why I was a suspect. I work in both potions and poisons. They are mirrors of each other; and a skilled alchemist can make both. I prefer to do Good, but I found I have a talent for the darker side of alchemy. Luckily, a little poison can heal where even the best potions cannot, so I employ my talents where they will help people most.

The Tale Begins…
As I was in the Castle Garden replanting my newest reagents, guards arrived at my and said that Bertram, the Royal Food- taster, had just fallen gravely ill. His role is now being filled by Sir Rogate, a deputy Knight, but that does me no good. Not when I am also a target!The guards escorted me to my quarters and there we found Shendra, my assistant, unconscious. A bowl of the same soup Bertram ate was by her side. No one would think to harm her, as sweet as she is, but I have enemies who wish to see me fall.
Luckily, I have friends who believe in my innocence. But there are still those who would see me jailed for attempted regicide. I must leave before they make their move to imprison me! I've got a stash of useful potions, a strong will, and a fierce desire to see justice done.

Healing Trainer
Greetings! I'm sure you've heard about combat skills and shiny gear, but the healing arts are just as important! If you're going to last here - and I know you will - you need to heal yourself between battles.
There are 3 ways to heal your Hit Points. You can click the heart in your Toolbar below or type /rest into your chat bar. The final way to heal is by using potions or other consumables.
Consumables? (Clicking on this with the Spell Scroll Ticket in your inventory gives you the Scroll of Fireball (3) item)
You have to equip consumable items like potions and spell scrolls before you can use them.
Equip them like you do other gear, by opening your Inventory button on the bottom right, then clicking the consumable item you want to equip.

I have the apothecary supplying Battleon's defenders with potions. There won't be more coming from outside. It's like a tidal wave of Shadows crashed on top of Battleon, scattering the reinforcements! Everyone's doing their best, but we're going to be swallowed if we don't break the waves apart fast! I'm so glad we can still count on you to return and defend our homes! We'd be a crater of nothing without you.

Thank goodness you're here! Zhoom and I had to barricade the door to keep those Brain Matter fans from harassing and stealing equipment from us. The Skull Dome has rules about not harming the audience members, but nothing about the other way around. They even put roaches in our bags! With you keeping us safe, our band can at least have a minute or two to rehearse.

Sorry for running ahead, I was following a gut feeling I had when Ingrid first spoke to us. Her voice had a bit of a rasp to it, like she had the beginnings of a bad chest cold. I'm glad Aina asked us to do her a favor by bringing gifts to Ingrid. It turns out my intuition was right, but Ingrid refuses to take any medicine. It's tough when everyone else is celebrating while she needs to mourn. Would you help me make her Frostval better?
Vacation
Rolith and I don't travel to Diauhtla every year but last time, we won the sled race as the Oaklore team. Since I live in Battleon, we wanted to lend their team a hand this year. Too bad all of the spots were taken, it would have been fun to race with you or even against you. Oh well, we'll let Rolith mush his way up the mountain, and make our own fun. We have to go caroling! I need to know what your singing voice is like!

Around this time of the season, Ingrid tends to get ill but she won't take any medication. Let me handle this. I have experience with the type of patients that get heartsick too. Being healthy isn't as easy as taking a potion and clearing a cold. Your head needs to feel well, and that can be rough when you're alone and sad. Especially during the holidays. Let's spend some time with her. We won't be losing anything.

I didn't even consider how compounds could change if they went through the digestive tract of a fox. We've found Rolith and the other racers. I'm so glad they're safe but the bandits that attacked them are going to invade Diauhtla. Anyone that can put up a fight is up in the mountains with us. The town is practically defenseless! We need to follow Ingrid's lead and get out of the woods as soon as possible. The monsters those bandits had…they don't seem easy to handle. It's going to be another tragedy if we don't stop them!

We weren't able to be a part of the sled race but boy did we run ourselves ragged for the surprise footrace. I can't begin to tell you how happy I am that we got to spend this crazy Frostval with you. Though, I guess I'll have to thank Aina for sending that free trip voucher. Rolith went off to make his report but when he comes back, let's go for a round of caroling. I still want to hear your singing voice, and I bet Ingrid would too.

You fought the Vaderix when they first emerged from a meteor that crashed near the Guardian Tower. The monsters we fought in Diauhtla were the same species, except they hatched in a snowier environment. Their bodies adapted to their surroundings the moment they were born, becoming far more dangerous than the original. They could be turned into vicious living weapons if others learned to tame them like the bandits did.Coincidence
We thought the racers had gone missing because the lights in the mountain disappeared. But when we arrived, we discovered that none of the sled torches had been snuffed. Were our eyes playing tricks on us? Was it a shared hallucination? There's no way. This had to have been a trick, but it helped us stop the bandits before they could do any real damage…I want to believe that this was done with good intent.Criminal Activity
Ever since the Snowview Inn was opened, Diauhtla became so safe that you could leave your doors and windows unlocked. That's what the locals say. This isn't the first time I've heard of there being a noticeable change in a community. Not that I don't want there to be improvements but this is drastic. Even pickpockets have disappeared off the street. I'll tell Rolith that this is worth looking into.

Whatever's in that Tincture, it's much more dangerous than your typical growth potion. Not only does it drastically increase one's physical size and strength, but their innate magical abilities, too. Those boosts, the mind-twisting power of Chaos, and Drakath's blind ambition are a REALLY bad combination for Lore.
