I first began to notice my father acting oddly when he sent his most loyal ninja and samurai to go ransack a village who could not pay their taxes after he raised them unreasonably high. My father would never cause his people that kind of hardship. Go to Hachiko Tower in town (to the right from here) and question 5 ninja and 5 samurai then return to me with their answers.
They attacked you, and you say that they had no faces? That could only mean one thing. Emperor Daisho's loyal ninja and samurai have been replaced with the faceless yokai known as Nopperabo. That means that the real soldiers must be in there somewhere. You have to rescue them!
Items Required:
- Ninja Questioned x5
- Samurai Questioned x5
Rewards:
- 3,000 Gold
- 4,000 Exp
- 2,500 Rep : Yokai
Thanks to Dragarr.

You have to defeat those faceless Nopperabo yokai, and find out what they have done with the soldiers that they have replaced! Search Hachiko Tower and find the Samurai Nopperabo for clues. Return to me when you find something.
Hmm, the note says; "Quickly take the places of the ninja and samurai in the tower, we will leave them trapped on the roof -DT". Who could DT be? At least we know where they are being hidden.

- 3,000 Rep : Yokai
Thanks to Dragarr.

You may have noticed that the roof is locked. That's my fault. I used to go play on the roof as a child so my father had it locked and had the Zodiac Puzzle Key split into 4 pieces. Search the Ninja Nopperabo and Samurai Nopperabo until you find all 4 pieces of the Puzzle Key, then return to me with the 4 pieces! Look at the walls, and in front of the doors to get clues as to which rooms you need to enter for the pieces. The Ninja Nopperabo and Samurai Nopperabo inside the rooms will have the keys - the ones in the halls are there to slow down your quest. Hurry, our soldiers are in danger!
You did it! Simply amazing. I really made the right decision when I wrote to you. Now, you must rescue the soldiers from whoever… or whatever is holding them captive on the roof!
Items Required:
- Rat-Ox-Tiger Piece x1
- Rabbit-Dragon-Snake piece x1
- Horse-Sheep-Monkey piece x1

Note: Previously called "DT".
There, the key is finished. Hurry, our soldiers must be waiting for you on the roof. Take care, hero… if they could have escaped by now then they would have. Something is keeping a close eye on them up there and whatever it is, it won't be happy to see you.
Dai Tengu was guarding them?! That settles it…. My father is somehow being controlled by Chaos Shogun Kitsune. We MUST free him.

Since my father is under the control of the Chaos Shogun… then that means other Yokai have probably fallen under the same spell. This must be stopped! Head north through the bamboo forest to the First Shrine of Jinmenju, the Tree with human-faced fruit, and search for any clues. Return to me if you find anything that may be of importance.
There is no more fruit on the Jinmenju Tree? Wakarimasen… what could have happened to it? The Chaos Shogun is causing a lot more problems than I first expected…
Items Required:

Thanks to Hina, Melfior and YOLO PS3.
Requirements: Must have completed the previous quest.
Without its fruit, the Jinmenju Tree will surely die, throwing the lifecycle of all Yokai off balance, ending in biological disaster. And since my Father is under the control of the Chaos Shogun, it will be up to you to find the Jinmenju Fruit… and the culprit. Go back through the bamboo forest and "interrogate" any suspicious Yokai. Return to me when you find the Jinmenju Fruit or any valuable information.
Although these fruit cores may seem insignificant, they actually say a lot about what is going on. The Tanuki, although under the Shogun's control, have only eaten enough fruit to survive. This Paper Talisman, on the other hand, might just be the thing we need to find the culprit behind the disappearing Jinmenju Fruit!
Items Required:
- Jinmenju Fruit Core x5
- Charred Paper Talisman x1
Rewards:

Hero, take this Paper Talisman with you. It will not only bring you good luck, but it will also help protect you against the Yokai responsible for hoarding all of the Jinmenju Fruit. The culprit will be most powerful, and a tough brute to kill at that. I believe Wanyudo — also known as the SoulTaker — is the one you are looking for. Be careful when around this fiery fiend.
Ya-ta! Great work, Hero! You recovered all the Jinmenju Fruit, and just in time, too! With the return of its Fruit, the Jinmenju Tree will flourish once more. Arigatou gozaimasu!

The Tsukumo-Gami have never caused much trouble—until now. The Chaos Shogun must have put a spell on these Yokai, making them even more enraged about being tossed out in the first place. Rummage through these lands and pay tribute to the Tsukumo-Gami Shrine. Return to me once you have done so.
It's a shame the spirit of the Tsukumo-Gami has been so corrupted by the Chaos Shogun. I wonder if there is an way to show these Yokai that Humans still care…

The best way to show the Tsukumo-Gami that Humans still care is to recycle every one of them! It's a dirty job, but somebody has to do it. Go back through the junkyard and collect a few of each wild Tsukumo-Gami. After doing so, we can clean them up and resell them for a nominal fee! I'm sure this will make the Tsukumo-Gami feel important once more.
I have no idea how you managed to carry all of these… but thank you for doing so! These Tsukumo-Gami will make great additions to any Hero's inventory… once I clean them up, that is! I have another favor to ask of you in the meantime…

Did you happen to run across Onibaba in your travels? Onibaba is the Mountain Hag who lives in these parts. She is extremely hostile and vicious, even without the Chaos Shogun's influence (which has undoubtedly made her even more crazed). The only way to ensure a safe haven for the Tsukumo-Gami is to defeat the Mountain Hag. Bring me back a Fresh Liver that will let me know of your success… and don't try to remove yours in exchange.
Success! The Mountain Hag thrives off Fresh Livers, and this thing right here proves that you defeated her. In time, the Tsukumo-Gami will be able to live in peace once more. Thank you, Hero!

Have you ever had sushi, Hero? Well let me tell you—it's delicious! Kappa Maki rolls are my favorite food, and it just so happens that the Yokai here have all the ingredients needed to make some. The only problem is… I don't remember the recipe! Talk to the Kappa and Funa-yurei near the river and see if they will help you out. They might not give the recipe up without a fight, so prepare yourself ahead of time!
Perfect! These recipes will teach us how to make the perfect Kappa Maki roll. Yum…. I can't wait!

Hero, there is a horrible creature that haunts the riverbed—a threat much worse than the Kappa and Funa-yurei combined. Slithering just beneath the water's surface is a half snake, half woman known as Nure Onna. She has haunted the delta for centuries, preying on everything which crosses her path. Please, confront the Nure Onna and defeat her so that no one else falls victim to her ruthless motives. Bring me back a patch of the Nure Snake Skin to prove that the river is safe once again.
Ya-ta! Great job! I was a little worried that the Nure Onna had gotten the upper hand… claw… well, you know what I mean. Take this reward as a humble gift of my gratitude.

The warriors' sets of armor are designed to never be removed once worn. That's terrible, do they get no rest at all? Valor, loyalty, and strength…is there a point to those things if one can't live a good life?

This cave has a back exit, but we can't let the Wuji warriors follow us out. I have a last resort. Place these crates of explosives at these specific spots in the cave.
If I don't detonate them correctly, there is a chance that we'll be buried alive. It is a risk I never want to take, but the relentlessness of our pursuers leaves me little choice.

My Great Grandfather needed some time alone with his grandson, enshrined in Takarajima's cave. He asked if you would have time to spar with him and his men. Would you humor him for a spell? It would raise their spirits.
With Grandfather Zheng with us, I will be able to learn of the current events in the Wuji Empire. Are they still interested in our whereabouts? What shall I do to protect the Isles from them… That can wait. I would like to stay with my great grandfather to talk, laugh, grieve, and look to Yokai's future.
