99th Birthday

We're tasked with guarding the shore from the Dragon's army, but the Yokai are causing a disturbance. It seems these Tsukumogami recently began to move, and are acting out because they were left outside. We'll quell them, and make sure they won't cause a fire.

+ When Completed

I recently threw out 99 year old lanterns in case they became Tsukumogami at age one hundred. That was sound judgment, but the act caused the lanterns to come alive anyway. Such youthful energy! Ah, well one hundred years isn't considered a long time in Wuji.

Red and Blue

Requirements: Must have completed the previous quest.

The situation on land is beginning to escalate. Haku Village is being harassed by the Mountain Oni - Yokai that revel in wanton death and destruction. Slay the Oni, and find Haruki. He is of Oni blood, and may know why his brethren are here despite the presence of the Isles' warriors.

+ When Completed

According to Haruki, the Oni wouldn't move in a group like this unless they were propositioned by someone stronger than them. This lines up too well with Zakhvatchik's arrival. I don't question his strength, but didn't he eat Oni when he first arrived all those years ago? What changed?

Cold Sunshower

Requirements: Must have completed the previous quest.

I shouldn't have let my Granddaughter and Baoyu leave so quickly. The Yokai are acting suspiciously. It must have something to do with the Dragon's return. I heard that Yue found a Memo that Baoyu left behind. Read that Memo and capture the Tsukumogami. I have a hunch.

+ When Completed

Sorcery is stoking the tempers of the Tsukumogami, and the Memo Baoyu left makes me more confident in my intuition. All of these rumors about the Great Yokai Spirit being unsatisfied with the Empress are coming from the villagers pestering Yue and Haruki. They're fox spirits in disguise.

Inari Boom

Requirements: Must have completed the previous quest.

Confront all the villagers spreading rumors about the Great Yokai Spirit. I'll dispel the sorcery those Fox Spies are using to disguise their ears and tails. We need to reveal their schemes before they whip Haku Village into a frenzy.

What are you doing with all of those tofu skins? Ah, the fox spirits must have dropped them in their haste to escape. The Kitsune adore fried tofu skins. I'll send my apologies to the Tofu Shop for getting in the way of their sales.

I've received a report that a man washed up on the beach, and that he's being attacked by draconic sea creatures. The locals call them Nagami, but they could be aquatic dragons from Zakhvatchik's army. Quickly, save that man from the so-called Nagami, and find out where he's from.

The man is just a tourist? From Greenguard or elsewhere? The Nagami you fought were actually dragons coming to spy on us. Please, help the Tourist, and see if he heard anything from the dragons that attacked him. His experience must have been harrowing. I need to prepare our ships.

King Sojobo

The Yokai are working with the Dragons. Even if they are at odds with the people of the Isles, it's demoralizing to see them join with a monster that wants to turn our home into a fiery wasteland. Please rid the village of Fox Spies and Nagami, and drive off the Dai Tengu before it strikes again.

+ When Completed

Ai No Miko told me stories of Kanmu, the Ayakashi Slayer. He exterminated Yokai on such a large scale that it instilled fear, hatred, and a sense of fascination in his enemies - so much so that the Tengu, perhaps even the one on the shore, disguised themselves to teach him in secret.
