Hushed
Your thoughts are in disarray, which will be fatal here. Recall what happened in /VoidChasm. It'll help you traverse this tundra.

After completing the 'Famiglia di Carcano' quest:
Hushed
You're here because you were intrigued by the bounty placed on Oblivion's head. Hang on to that curiosity. It'll keep you lucid. Most of the hunting party you followed must be dead under a layer of snow by now, unless the Fiend's Void possessed their husks to spread Oblivion's influence. He must have returned to his original body. Let me lead you due east to the other survivors. It'll improve your chances of surviving and unraveling this mystery.

What you're looking at is a ghost of what I used to be. Before it fades away, I want to see how this new generation of Fiends is faring.Tundra
The Northlands haven't changed at all. Its tundras are always larger than you think they are. Remember - avoid pitch black snow, and don't make eye contact with the dead. If you see organic growths like bony spines or patches of fiendish flesh, keep your gaze from lingering. Oblivion returning to his original body caused the landscape itself to turn into a Fiend. It'll become self-aware if you acknowledge it.Fiend's Void
Are you familiar with Adimonde the Fiend God? His Void is insatiable, and I know that from firsthand experience. Who is the current Archfiend? I see, Nulgath. Null…that's an interesting name. The Fiends and creatures you encounter here will differ from those under Nulgath's banner. They'll embody the void's numb emptiness rather than…well, you describe Nulgath for me. It depends on his character.Student
When my body was still complete, Oblivion was my student. The being you describe is rather enthusiastic, and about as animated as most living creatures are. Before he cut me into pieces and fed me to the Fiend God, Oblivion was quite reserved. He held a fascination with the power of the Fiend's Void, but not in the same way I - oh, you seem to be caught up in the fact that he betrayed me. It was unavoidable, really. I don't take it personally.
After completing the 'Self-Destructive Spell' quest:
Hushed
In the same way the current Archfiend has top loyalists trusted with his power, Oblivion's Herald wields a great deal of his. The difference is that this Herald is but a husk, possessed by the Fiend's Void in order to spread the urge to wither. It approaches. You must destroy it and survive.
